Beautiful little coffee shop in the Willy Street area of Madison. Just be mindful they do not take credit cards!! They do have an ATM on site however. Limited menu and pastry selection but like others have said it has a very grunge and old school coffee shop feel. Something out of a sitcoms type. And they have the most beautiful mosaic over the entryway I am just obsessed with it.

I’d describe this place as grunge/hippie, it has that o.g. vegan coffee shop feel (this is a good thing). I wasn’t super impressed with the apple danish I purchased, but the service was good and I’ll definitely be back to try something else next time I’m traveling through. I also ordered a matcha latte which comes unsweetened but you’re able to add your own liquid sweetener to drinks to your preference.

Bathrooms available, street parking was easy to find along the residential streets.

This was a nice coffee shop with good options for vegan pastries and other snacks. The donuts and drinks were tasty. It was also cool to be able to pick up some supplies here in the grocery section. I picked up a bag of raisins, but there was honestly a good selection for this small of a place.

Very solid coffeehouse with a diverse selection of vegan pastries on offer. Excellent choice for any vegans travelling through the area!

I'm puzzled to see another reviewer claim that the place is cash-only. That is incorrect. I remember I managed to pay with... I think it was PayPal. A little unusual, and it took me a second to arrange that, but definitely not strictly cash-only.

Stopped in for a quick latte to-go. Coffee was good, the people working were very nice. Soy and oat were the milk options available. Looks like a good place to work/study from - it was quiet on a late Friday morning.

Favorite coffee shop of all time. Delicious sweet treats. Cozy and quiet atmosphere. It always smells amazing!

Only oat or soy milk offered and cash only but they do have an ATM on site. Luckily I had cash as they mentioned it after making the drink and I didn't want to pay a fee for an ATM. Espresso ratio was also less for the money compared to other local shops. They did say if you try a drink with soy or oat milk and don't like it they would give you something else for free as a replacement.

If you're looking for a cozy coffee shop with a great atmosphere, this is the place. It's a perfect place to chill if you're just looking to hang out. It's great for studying. It's great for meeting with friends. The baristas are wonderful, the bakery items are vegan and DELICIOUS. Cedar, in particular, is so unbelievably friendly and good with faces that they can pretty much recognize someone within the 2nd visit and does such a wonderful job with barista-ing. You get to strike up a chat while your drink is being made and just what a wonderful way to start your visit here.
