Tonight's Trip to Motel Moonlight was a delight. No Deposit Needed for checkin in. ID IS REQUIRED and of course The Cost of the room. All in all a very smooth process. I will definitely come back again when I'm in the area. Receptionist had a great vibe about her I felt very safe to spend the night here.
As far as the rooms goes.
The rooms are spacious. sheets were clean. No soap to wash our hands. But Very large restroom area plenty of room to get ready. The Air Conditioning worked and ran great. IF I HAD TO GIVE THEM A RATE 1-10 I WOULD SAY 8.

"I've lived here 9 years" isn't anything to brag about or is a thing that people respect. It's a motel after all. Get an apartment already...

Other than him, I love staying here.

I just checked out right now from the motel. It was a pretty good motel to stay in especially when you have Knott's and Disney pretty close to the place. The room we got was relatively clean and spacious and no we didn't see no roaches or bedbug's. The receptionist was really nice as well though I kinda felt bad since he waited until like 1:00 in the morning for us to get there. The ladies that clean the rooms here were really nice and welcoming as well. All in all, I would definitely plan on coming back here.

We, on a whim decided to go to Knott's Scary Farm, not realizing that just about every place in town double or triple their prices for rooms.....found this last minute deal...cash only for $80/night/needed two rooms. The owner was very friendly and helpful on check in...is the place dated...yes, could it use some upgrades...yes, was it comfortable...yes and quiet too. For a place to lay our heads after a long evening we were happy here. The pool is very small and needs cleaning and improvements. Some of the rooms have long term tenants who are very friendly and respectful of your space. It is 1.6 miles from Knott's Berry Farm on Beach Blvd.

Customer service was great. The man who helped us was very polite considering it was so late at night. Unfortunately the room had small roaches and light graffiti on the bedsheets. Very hospitable and understanding when we pointed out the room problems, but wouldn't stay here again.

Place was clean. Staff were nice, but their check in is very outdated. The room we were given had some writing on the door. It just made the experience feel a bit ghetto. I think if they updated their systems and painted the rooms a more cheerful color, this place would be great to stay in.

Motel moonlight is accessible from South Beach Blvd. The entrance is on the right when heading south on the street, you cannot access it when travel north without a u-turn. The sign is very visible from the street. There are parking spaces infront of the rooms with additional ones in the back. It located about 10 minutes from the Disneyland resort. When entering the room there was a musky smell with a slight hint smoke, though the room itself was non-smoking. The carpet looks fairly new. The room looks like most of the pictures you find online. You'll find a desk, dresser, mini-fridge and microwave. Our particular bed was very springy, not the most comfortable thing but was fine for the few nights. The fridge was clean but the microwave had some discoloring and potential food on the top, we did not investigate further. You should fine an ironing board and iron though our room was missing the iron. The included blower dryer was basically unusable, it was missing the back cap and failed to produce reasonably hot air. Be careful with the supplied soaps and shampoo, the hand soap may leave your skin with a very dry feeling, I cannot say how the shampoo/condition was as we did not use it. The AC unit worked but had visible wear on the top. The filter is just a metal mesh, it appeared to be cleaned but the inside of the unit was very dirty. I'd suggest not using it. The bathroom fan has visible build up on it and doesn't not look like it's been recently cleaned. The shower head has lots of calcification built up. The toilet looks fairly new. Though this motel is located in a touristy area you'll find no information in the room about the area. Becareful to not change the input on the TV as this will make it unusable. Changing the input back to the correct one is not straight forward. The management was very nice and worked with us when we made a request.

We needed an inexpensive place to stay while attending a memorial service in Long Beach. Our previous favorite place has closed down, so I considered several motels in this area. The Moonlight served our needs. A decemt size room, an old (but comfortable enough) bed, a fridge & microwave gave us all we needed. Check in was fine. The Moonlight has a laundry room, which was a nice touch, since we has been traveling for several days. The area is congested, so you'd think it would be noisy, but that was not our experience. Wifi is good. The bathtub floor is a bit slick, so showering was an adventure. I might bring a rubber mat next time. All in all, we got our money's worth and will probably return.
