The stay was pleasant. The bed was comfortable. Water pressure was nice. The area surrounding the motel was quiet. There are a couple of fast food restaurants and a coffee place within walking distance for convenience. Check in and check out was also easy.

I stayed at this hotel only for 1 night, Eugene is such an amazing guy at reception he was very helpful. He showed he the room, gave me a USB charger, and even helped me to plan my route.
The hotel has a hard floor and looks pretty clean for good price!

It's an ok motel location wise. Clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced for San Diego. Will probably stay here again sometime in the distant future, if they're still in business, God willing. Have a good day! What more can be said? Happy Holidays!?

I really enjoyed my stay here in Motel 6 la mesa. They treated me with respect as I have been a loyal customer to them. Their room is well cleaned and the price is right. I recommend whoever need to put their head down or came to visit for vacation. 🙂

For a motel 6 this place was recently updated and did the job. 1 bar of soap, no shampoo and conditioner or anything like that but had a fridge and microwave. The beds were more like fulls than queens. We had ants and the front desk came and sprayed right away after we called and it wasn't an issue after that. Everything was sold out that weekend as was this hotel so it was what it was. Nothing fancy at all but the location was great.

Apparently the whole property was renovated recently & it shows. I've lived in S.D off & on for over 20 yrs so I know the city very well. This motel 6 in La Mesa is the only mo/hotel in the area & has been a staple for decades. I was pleasantly suprised. Quiet, communal, the rooms we're very comfortable & calming. The morning dew that S.D is known for was so refreshing to experience while sitting outside the office sipping bone broth. NICE!!

Okay.We are staying here to attend San Diego Comic Con.Which is only about fifteen minutes away! The first impression of the hotel is good. There is plenty of parking both covered and uncovered.
Check into the hotel was fast. We got a nice room on the second floor. There are eating places all around.

At check in room not ready, we waited and Housekeeper went to mop floor with a dirty towel attached to mop handle. There's no blow dryer, no iron, no luggage rack, no hooks in bathroom, not any toiletries and we had to ask for towels and washcloths. At check out, the clerk ran up to our empty room to go inspect before giving us our receipt. Never have I experienced that and we stay in hotels at least twice a month. Over priced for not the best Motel 6. Never again.
