We just stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our time! The host was very responsive, and the scenery was lovely. The outhouse was also very well maintained. Exactly what we needed! We will be back!

A great spot to enjoy some peace and quiet. Outhouses were very clean and the camping spots were nice and in the woods.

Just a one night stop on way to Seward but it was disappointing due to only electric. NO water on site anywhere. No dump. Trees were overgrown and scratched up class A rv side and top. Loud train is 100 ft from site. Ran through blaring twice at night.

Moose pass is beautiful and about 40 min from Seward which is nice but this is mostly muddy and sandwiched between the highway and train tracks. The sites are quite close so everyones noise and business is in your business. Its nearly a stones throw from highway (noise) and from the train the blows the horn several times as it comes through a coupe of times in the night. We stayed bc you could reserve it last minute instead of the national forrest campgrounds that have first come first serve sites available only which feels risky. If you need to reserve i think sites 9-12 type area are best bet (not so muddy). I wish we would have stayed at Trail creek campground

Nice little campground. Haven't camped here yet, but have come multiple times for a picnic & to use the picnic tables there. Our group has always enjoyed coming back. Outhouses were in reasonably great condition... really not too smelly!!! (Didn't even have to hold my breath haha!)

This campground is so lovely! Lots of trees, a lovely flowing creek with a few log bridges over it, and nice fire pits! It’s nice to have electricity! The only improvement would be bathrooms with showers but for the price, you can’t beat it! We love staying here!

No interaction with manager - no answer when I knocked on the door. Strange. No answers to questions sent a month in advance of my visit. Insist that you book online instead of at the campground. Added taxes and fees to my total (listed on website - not at campground) and they want your banking info submitted on an unsecured connection/website.. not allowed to pay through PayPal. I don't know if the views were nice or not through the haze of smoke from multiple fires all over the State of Alaska. Not a good experience all around. Lots of room for improvement.
On a positive note, there was hand sanitizer available in the dark little honey bucket poo shack and lots of pine tree fresheners tied to the door. Snazzy.
