Really nice camp ground. Very well keep. We were there at the end of the season so very quiet, even though they are close to Park Hwy. Beautiful creek with trout and salmon in it. There is a state park right across the road which has better fishing opportunities. The owners were very helpful although we never saw them.

Tho there are only a handful of sites with electricity none have water or waist dumps. Regardless of that the campground is really a nice campground with increasing secluded sites the farther back you go. The campground does have port a johns that are clean. It is located conveniently 2mi. from an IGA grocery and a short easy drive to the beautiful town of Talkeetna. In the other direction you have a restaurant w/bar about 6-10 mi. south thatโ€™s good for lunch or dinner. Management is nice but only there a few hours per day with a little store on site with some essential supplies. In short our group of 4 couples liked it.

This is a privately owned campground across the highway from the Montana Creek State Recreation Area. It is situated by the creek and there is a passageway under the highway to safely access the recreation area. We had 30 amp service. Campsites in the electric service area were very close together and had no privacy. They were close to the road, with road noise and current road construction. Sites without electricity were in a much more private, quiet area. The campground is close to a grocery store (rural, $$) and about 15 minutes from Talkeetna.

We enjoyed your campground. Sorry that your gift shop wasn't open but, it is the end of your season. It's a very rustic, beautiful setting. We walked to the river and sat awhile on the bench. Traveled to Talkeetna and the back roads of Trapper Creek.

First, the campground is great, the feel is great, its quiet and clean and the layout is pretty good. I would highly recommend. Be aware the forest area is not for the faint of heart if you have a 28+ ft trailer. Corners are really tight and roads are really narrow aside from the outer loops. You will scratch your trailer because the shrubbery is not trimmed back on the corners of the road or entrances to the campsites. Also the entrances to the sites are really tight in the forest because of the brush. I would have given it 5 star if they had trimmed it up some.

While the location is great, the camping sites are just too close together. There are a few pull through sites that have some privacy, but people can still see over the brush and into your camp site taking away that private feeling.
The quiet hours are not enforced, at least while we were there. It was loud (generators and people with loud music) up until 12am on the night of June 21st morning of the 22nd. The construction that is going on ruins the feel of the campsite as well, trying to enjoy a fire with the loud construction isn't too bad, but I could do without the construction noise. No warning or notice was shown on the website that I saw for the construction.
Walking the camp site is nice, right on the creek, and that portion of the area is very nice.
I probably wonโ€™t stay there again due to the noise, and lack of privacy in campsites.

Not a fan, but for all the reasons I don't like it- it might be good for someone else. So many 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, barking dogs, children screaming, cars driving on the highway (which is close). Late into the night. Also late night drinkers listening to music; which is fine, until it's AM and you keep sleeping through your alarm and hitting the snooze button. If you like robust social events or freeranging your kids on bikes and ATVs this might be a good place for you. There is a tackle/ rental shop and store on site, and the layout of the campground isn't bad. It is a privately owned campground, and they do take reservations- which is logistically advantageous. Staff is good.

With that being said, we will go back, but we will probably leave the dogs at home. Too much excitement.

We were not a fan. On one hand this campground is right along the main road with a lot of traffic and construction going on, on the other hand there is no running water available and the bathrooms are portopotties. The main benefit is that you can reserve a campsite online, but the presentation of the campground on the website is nothing close to what you'll actually get.
