The Monona Terrace Community and Conference Center is a nice spot to visit. The rooftop has a little outdoor cafe, lots of tables with umbrellas, a great view of Lake Monona and native wildflowers gardens.

When we walked into the theater, it was breathtaking to see all of the candles. And the music was heavenly! Very talented musicians!

My partner and I attended the “Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics” string quartet concert. The musicians were so fun and relatable, not to mention EXTREMELY TALENTED, always making sure the audience was having a good time. The performance took place in a lecture hall, the candles were a beautiful touch and set the mood perfectly. We will be returning for the Christmas themed show in December!

This is a must stop for Frank Lloyd Wright fans. The amount of detail that go into the architecture is amazing. We didn’t have enough time for the tour because they were having event going on. The cafe on the rooftop was nice. You can easily spend a couple hours just browsing around the building.

Love this place. However, the parking ramp is definitely in need of some love and the outdoor elevator was not working. It is definitely the perfect venue for the art and craft fair I participated in this past weekend. Have been part of this fair for over 30 years. Glad it is still going strong.
