Upon arrival Mario was a helpful valet and took great care of us, he did let us know if the parking fee so we did appreciate him letting us know! The room was clean and we enjoyed a great view of the pool area. Beds were comfortable and the room was well stocked. The main downside was our coffee bar and mini snack bar had expired spoiled items (ie creamers, crackers, nuts) and upon checking out we realized there were additional unexpected “amenities” fees for $35 and parking is $70, so be prepared for an extra $100 in fees outside of the rates.

As always, the best experience of my life! The service from every single angle is absolutely incredible! From the front desk to the Sky Bar was nothing short of amazing! The staff were always very friendly and helpful and professional! Anywhere you go in that building, you’re going to be treated like you’re the only one there! MVP goes to Ky and Joey at the front desk, Jules, Vinny, Johnny, Frankie, Carolyn, Jaimes, Alex, Ron, Scott at the Sky Bar! The ladies in the gift shop are the besttttt! The room was so clean and the pillows and beds are so comfortable and I slept so good! I’ve stayed here many times and it’s always a pleasure! I felt safe and welcomed! I’ll never stay anywhere else when I visit beautiful LA! 10 stars!

We were originally booked at Mama Shelter in Hollywood because of the location of where we were going on our trip. So in all fairness, my review is based through this lens of kindly being rebooked to the Mondrian. The Mondrian is absolutely FANTASTIC and exciting if I were in my 20s/30s and I was coming to L.A. for all that the location has to offer!! The views are fantastic and you are within walking distance or a short uber drive to so many restaurants and clubs. HOWEVER, if extra fees/costs matter, then you might be very annoyed at the ridiculously expensive $70 per night parking fee which you will have to use since West Hollywood doesn't have any overnight street parking, so there is no getting away with parking on the street to avoid this cost. Also, their resort fee states it includes a free drink in the Skybar and coffee in the lobby, so make sure to get your drinks since you are being charged. Also, they kept running out of their free coffee in the lobby and were told to just buy it when they ran out (we got it for free since that was part of the resort fee..just an FYI in case they tell you to buy it). The room was nice and orderly, but the furniture is a bit dated and could use a deep clean. There is a mini fridge but it is filled with drinks, so no room for any leftovers from restaurants and no microwave (I always need a mini fridge because I like to buy snacks). Honestly, I'm from Los Angeles originally and I am all about finding a clean, safe place to stay with free/cheap parking with free coffee and amenities included since I use a hotel only to sleep and to be centrally located. The staff were great at the Mondrian, but I personally wouldn't stay here again because of the extra costs and parking situation. But if this doesn't matter to you, then you may definitely love this place. It's all about preference in how you vacation.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐||We had a late flight back home on Sunday morning, and I can't express how grateful we were for Ky's generosity in offering us a late check-out! It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our travel experience much smoother. ||I noticed that she was the only one at the front desk, yet she managed to handle everything with grace and efficiency—truly impressive! ||Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The facility was clean and organized, contributing to a very comfortable experience. ||We will definitely be back! Thank you for such an outstanding visit!

After several stays there I still stand by my 10 star review! Amazing location, incredible staff, top tier service at every angle from front desk to Sky Bar! I visit 3-4 times a year and am never disappointed! Ky and Joey at front desk are so kind and helpful! Visit the gift shop! Such cute and unique pieces and the owner is amazing! The sky bar is filled with beautiful atmosphere and the staff is unmatched! Jules, Alex, Ron, Vinny, Frankie, Johnny, Jaimes, Scott and Carolyn will make you feel like you’re the only one in the room! I only go 3-4 times a year and they remember me by name! It’s such a great vibe and so clean and so much fun and entertaining! It’s breathtaking there! The atmosphere and view is unmatched! I feel very safe and comfortable there and always have! Highly recommend! Walking distance to many great places on the Sunset Strip!

I stayed at this hotel for a little weekend trip. We arrived in our room around 5 pm and noticed the thermostat stated 78 so we adjusted it and immediately took a nap thinking that the room just needed to be cooled down. When we woke up, the thermostat still stated 78 and we obviously found the room to be too warm. I called the receptionist and she said a technician will be on his way. After waiting a half an hour, I went physically downstairs to the receptionist and explained that I needed the air conditioning to be fixed immediately as it was too hot for me to take a shower and get ready for dinner. I also told her that the mini bar was not cooling and she said that the technician would also fix that. An hour later, the technician shows up and fixed the AC but said that the mini bar was not his responsibility and that someone else would come fix it but no one showed up. When I was checking out the next morning, I explained the issue with air conditioning and that no one verified the AC before we checked in. Additionally, I explained the mini bar issue and this receptionist (Ciara) old me that the mini bar doesn’t cool and that we were supposed to ask for a mini fridge to be sent to the room. First of all, bizarre that I would have to ask for a fridge to be delivered and secondly, the first receptionist and the technician never explained this and told me that someone will come fix it. When I explained this to Ciara, she was very dismissive and said that since she was not there she could not comment on the situation. Basically, she took zero responsibility AND gave me attitude for it. Overall, I found the hotel property to be nice but the service was horrible and not what I would expect for the price. Definitely will not be staying there again.

If you're looking for luxury in the heart of LA, the Mondrian is a fantastic choice. It offers a perfect balance of style, comfort, and top-notch service. I can’t recommend it enough!
