This is now officially my favorite coffee house in Bakersfield. The decor and the serving trays etc are cute. The hot pistachio latte was delicious. My mom and I got different milks and she was able to have hers made less sweet to her preference. The Ma’amoul date filled butter cookie was a perfect little bite to go with it, sweet, but not too sweet, and crumbly that reminded me of my Moms shortbread cookies. We also tried a savory snack that I picked from their fresh baked display. It was very much like pie crust with mixed in spices. We sat for about an hour just enjoying a lovely place for a coffee and visit. There are a few games on a shelf if you like that. We used Google translate to find out what the arabic sayings on the wall said. Some were rather clever. If you order 32oz of one of their specialty teas or coffees, they bring it in a fabulous serving carafe. Super nice serving staff. I will definitely be back!

Mokha remains to be one of my most favorite places in Bakersfield. Even before the viral strawberry cups, it was my place to be at. Everything is authentic and unique. You must try the honeycomb bread and a pistachio late (you can ask for more pistachio or less sweetness however you like!).

The service is fantastic with staff taking the time to explain everything! Although with its fame sometimes the wait can be a little long, it’s worth it. Will definitely be back soon.

Traveling through, I was excited to stop by this coffeeshop. The decor is lovely with Arabic style artwork. I tried an iced Pistachio Latte and was pleasantly surprised! It was made with a pistachio sauce rather than a syrup—it was delightful tasting the nutty and buttery pistachio with each sip. Would definitely be visiting again when I travel!

Just spent $85 on 5 of these Dubai chocolate strawberry cups and they are half empty. I told the girl behind the counter that they looked empty and she just gave me a blank look. Not worth the price paid for what you are getting. Just want to give everyone a heads up before spending your money on half a cup.

First time checking this place out.

There is a robust item of teas, coffees, and snacks.

I appreciate the atmosphere and decorations.

Purchased the Turkish coffee...it's a bit bitter, but the spices in it cut that down a tad bit. It pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the Medjool Date. Would definitely try this again.

The music is a vibe.

Staff is very helpful and suggestive.

Clean location.

Would definitely recommend.

My sister and I took the kids in today to try some new treats and none of us left disappointed. We were a larger group but found the sitting area easily accommodated us. We tried a couple of Turkish coffee, some Caramel Macchiatos, and some Qishr tea along with some pastries and other eats. Service was beautiful and friendly. There are even games to play. Such a lovely new place. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

I’m a big fan of Turkish coffee so I came to check this place out and got way more than what I bargained for.

Started off with the Turkish coffee, which was authentic and perfectly balanced with sweet dates. The Adeni tea is rich and flavorful, not too sweet. The tea pairs great with the honeycomb bread. If you’re looking for something sweeter, try the basboosa with pistachio drizzle or baklawa. Ended up trying a bunch of things and taking them to go for later.

They have other types of baklawa so you can choose between peanuts or mixed nuts, or classic pistachio. We didn’t leave a stray crumb when it came to the butter cookies. They come as plain and date-filled. The butter cookies are flaky and delicious. They melt in your mouth so don’t try to dip them in your tea.

Last but not least, we tried the ka’ak and this was not sweet, but had a nice crunchy outside and flaky inside. So if you’re looking for a low sugar option the ka’ak is gold!

Employees were courteous and didn’t mess up our order. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. You could pop in for a to-go order or take your time sitting inside the shop enjoying your drinks and sweet bites. They won’t rush you. Actually, they offered us a sampling of an off-menu item: mango smoothie. It was thick and creamy like a milkshake, but refreshingly fruity of course.

Check this place out if you’re looking for a new spot for your caffeine or sugar fix!

No complaints really, I think this is an excellent coffee place! I ended up getting a pistachio latte which was overall pretty yummy BUT, it was $7 which was a bit expensive for coffee. However, it’s a local owned business so I understand the price. The inside was beautifully decorated and very clean. The customer service was also great and the girl taking my order was really kind. Loved it and I’ll definitely come back, it seems like a study friendly place so I’ll be coming back with my textbook haha!
