My sister had her wedding there, it's such a magical place, very peaceful, felt like a relaxing escape from everyday life. Jennifer is absolutely incredible, the food was SUBLIME, the rooms were clean and comfy, all over a truly wonderful experience. We will definitely be returning!!♥️

Our son’s wedding was held at the Mistletoe Bough, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We hosted the rehearsal dinner on Saturday evening, catered by a local Mexican restaurant, in the venue’s elegant formal dining room. The house itself is a magnificent example of late 19th to early 20th century architecture, beautifully preserved with much of its original furnishings.||The wedding took place on Sunday evening on the venue’s expansive grounds. Despite some rain, the canopy provided perfect coverage, and the event proceeded seamlessly. The owners were on hand throughout, offering their assistance and answering any questions that arose, ensuring everything went smoothly.||Several of us chose to stay overnight, and we were treated to comfortable accommodations with a variety of thoughtful amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful breakfast—generously portioned and expertly prepared. The homemade cinnamon rolls, in particular, were outstanding. The level of service was impeccable, and we were made to feel truly cared for throughout our time at the Mistletoe Bough. (We are still talking about those cinnamon rolls!!)

About a year or so ago, my then fiance - Now husband - Walked into the Bough and knew we wanted our wedding there. Jennifer and Ed made it SO amazingly stress free, even when I had issues with miscommunication and appointments, they were amazingly accommodating. (Hire a wedding planner, don't be like me) The day was perfect, the night was magical and the room we stayed in was so cozy. We had so much encouragement from Jennifer and Ed that everything was more than easy and we are so grateful.
Absolutely recommend booking any event - whether it's a Bridal shower, Rehearsal dinner or a Wedding or even just booking a room, they'll treat you well.

Mistletoe Bough is a gorgeous, classic house, every bit as impressive as the online photos suggest! Our bedroom was clean, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Jennifer and Ed are very gracious and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious! Thank you!

Fantastic hospitality in this lovely historical home. Jennifer and Eddie were great hosts! We brought our pups and had a large room with great views. Breakfast was delicious and the homemade welcome treats were a lovely surprise. Walkable to town. The owners also have the first and only brewery in town, Lake Martin Brewing, which we also visited, tried all the flavors, and had some good pizza! Thank you for a great time!

A lovely turn of the century house with beautiful guest rooms that were both nice and quiet. Jennifer, one of the owners fixes a breakfast that is both yummy and in keeping with Southern Hospitality. There is plenty of parking and the lake is close by.|We will be back!|Beth and Mark
