I recently stayed at the historic Mission Inn in Riverside and loved it. The building itself is rich in history and exudes an old-world charm that transports you to another era. The intricate architecture and beautiful courtyards make it feel like you're staying in a living piece of art.

The location is fantastic…within walking distance of great restaurants, lively nightlife, and the Riverside Convention Center, which was incredibly convenient since I was attending a conference there. The area also has plenty of options for large groups to gather, making it perfect for both work and leisure.

The service and staff at the Mission Inn were exceptional, providing a warm and welcoming experience from start to finish. Every detail was attended to, making my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I would absolutely recommend the Mission Inn to anyone looking for a unique and memorable place to stay in Riverside!

This is the most unique and beautiful hotel resorts I have stayed at in the United States. The historic charm is unmatched. We stayed in a standard room with our kids and it worked great- the large closet came in handy for storing everything out of the way. The beds were really comfortable and we all enjoyed restful sleep. This is a must-stay!

Lovely hotel with a lot of history. We took the 1 hour tour and it was very interesting. Celebrities and presidents have stayed there. Some have been married there. There is a beautiful chapel . 3 restaurants are in hotel. We didn't try as they were a little pricey. We opted for more casual supper at the Food Lab.
We had a nice little breakfast with yummy beignets!

We were upgraded from a standard room to an amazing suite on the 4th floor. The room had a luxury feel and the vaulted ceiling was fantastic. The view from the room into the courtyard was also very nice. The building architecture is gorgeous with a historic feel to it. We had breakfast at the Mission Inn Restaurant which was delicious and all staff treated us very well. We also had drinks with family at the Presidential Lounge that had live music. We absolutely plan on returning for the Festival of Lights during Christmas. I absolutely recommend staying here.

Beyond our high expectations!! Every staff member we interacted with was beyond happy to help us. The room was beautiful. Perfectly cleaned. The food in all the restaurants was delicious. Great drinks & wonderful atmosphere. We were here during the super busy Festival of Lights. We were taken such good care from the valet, the bellman, wait staff, front desk. You certainly could not ask for more. They made our Christmas/ anniversary holiday so special!!

This is one of the most amazing, fascinating, beautiful places in all of California if not the United States for the world. You must go there and if you have a chance take a tour around the place it is just beyond description. And if you have a chance stay there. Highly recommend the enclosed patio area for lunch or dinner outside. But the real Wonder lies around the whole property take your time and enjoy!

This hotel is stunning. The architecture is exquisite. There are so many levels and areas to explore inside and outside. Courtyards, fountains.. It is gorgeous. ||We went during the spectacular "Festival of Lights" and it was a feast for the eyes. Awesome. ||Front desk staff, security and workers were so pleasant and welcoming. ||If I have a bit of an issue, if was the set up of our hotel room. Bed faces one way but, the TV was over on our right side wall. But, we really weren't there for TV. We also weren't in love with the bathroom and the window curtain in the bathroom didn't cover the whole window. ||We ate outside ifor dinner at the gorgeous Mexican restaurant. Lots of heat lamps to keep us toasty. My only issue here was our distracted server. He was slow and a bit dismissive. Not rude or nasty, just not invested in us. or being there. ||We also had breakfast inside at the main restaurant. When I asked about the beautiful mural work, our server said she had been told but that the info "went in one ear and out the other". She did mention that she didn't usually work the breakfast shift. She did seem tired. My husband's toast came really late and not really toasted, as well, his dish was supposed to come with potatoes, but it didn't. He had to ask for that. No biggie. The food was just, ok.||But, very minor issues that didn't sway our absolute awe of this incredible property. We'd love to return! We're even considering vow renewal there!

This is such a cute place! I love the decor and Christmas lights and it’s just so gorgeous! It has a lovely antiquity to it and an elegance you don’t see in many places anymore. It reminds me of an Italian church and being there transports me to a place far from California. It has a magical feel to it. There are weddings that often take place here and it’s got a fun upbeat vibe. I highly recommend a visit.
