I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt this one was necessary. I’ve lived in Clarksburg my entire life, and this was my first time stopping in to eat at Minards. I had an incredible experience! The atmosphere was lovely, waitstaff was super friendly. My server was very helpful with any questions I had and also helped me make my decision on what to order. I ended up getting the bruschetta as an appetizer, and the three way combo as entree ( i chose the eggplant parmigiana, manicotti, and cheese ravioli). The bruschetta was amazing, and was the only thing I got a picture of because when my entrée came out, it looked too good, and I had to dive in… Everything was very tasty, I did not have to wait in betweeen courses. needless to say I will be coming back and recommending Minards to friends!!

Back again. Same great waitress. Quick efficient service. Had the Pick 2 and Pick 3 dinners. Fetticini Alfredo sauce was creamy. Eggplant parmasean pretty heavily breaded. Lasagna and ravioli was good.

Awesome waitstaff. Friendly and welcoming. Delicious Italian pasta dishes, soups (lobster bisque was incredible!), salads ( fresh and crispy) and Gelato! Casual setting in a family owned restaurant with an 87 year history of serving Italian food to Clarksburg!

I ordered a family dinner of the small lasagna with salad and bread. When I stated what I wanted I was told the bread and salad came with the meal. I ordered a small pan of lasagna with salad and bread and a quart of meatballs for my son. The pan of lasagna, in my opinion, was appropriately priced at $40. The quart of meatballs n sauce for $7 accurate as well. I paid $6 for a loaf of bread and $32 dollars for the small family salad!!! When I stopped to pick up we waited for someone to come to the register for almost 20 mins when there were literally 3 cars in the whole parking lot. My young child was ready to go so I just her my name and didn’t even think to look at what I paid or what I received. I was shocked to open a pan of lettuce with maybe a half of a tomato diced on top of it for $32. That is insane. I called to question the cost and could not get a real answer and was asked if I wanted to come in for another salad. Tell me how a pan of lettuce with half a tomato diced is only $8 less than a small pan of lasagna. I also checked the menu and could not find the price for this order anywhere on it.

Not growing up here in this area but have always heard the hype about other Italian restaurants like Muriale's & Oliverio's but Minard's is our family's absolute favorite. We order take out almost weekly & they are consistently very good with getting our order right. The salad with house dressing is so good & the lasagna is delicious. Nobody makes a better pasta sauce. Bravo Minard's! Delizioso! Buonissimo!!

Has been and still is my favorite Italian food anywhere around. When I don't have time to go there I stop at Price Cutter and pick up there frozen Lasagna with meat sauce. And it's even good.

Wow. What happened to Minards? They remolded inside, which is great. A lot more open and bright. Too bad the food went downhill. Cheese ravioli. Chewy. Stubborn on the amount of sauce. And sauce wasn’t as thick as it used to be. Their salad was one of my favorites in the area. Simple. Iceberg lettuce and tomatoes. Now, they’ve mixed in spring mix and spinach. And the salad dressing is way too tangy.
Bottom line: if it’s not broken, don’t fix it!
