Great sandwiches. Excellent meat options, bread, and toppings. Reasonably priced and the sandwiches are substantial/big. I wish they were open on weekends! I have to plan ahead a bit more carefully due to their limited hours

Very bad customer service. Had a customer before me order two sandwiches and then asked for sprouts on the side. She was given the sprouts without hesitation. So did the same thing and was told I could only get sprouts if I ordered a salad. I then asked what the difference was between me and the customer before me. The Latina worker then just laughed and said they didn’t carry sprouts. Never coming back to this place. I really love the sandwiches here too. Maybe I got stereotyped by my own Latino people or do they just serve a certain race in a good old fashion American customer service. Managers please teach your workers to treat everyone the same.

This place is hella good! I got the no. 6, Pastrami. The bread is the key but the stuff under the bread is great too. Nice big ol Sammy for a decent price. This is a San Rafael institution that just keeps on giving.

It's a local treasure and one of the best sandwich shops I've ever visited. As the name implies, warm sourdough is a go-to (though they have the expected other bread).
The staff are focused and friendly. Note, unsurprisingly, the place can get bustling around lunchtime.

As a self-proclaimed, sandwich connoisseur, this is hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The bread is so fresh, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. I have to limit myself to one sandwich a week, otherwise I’d be in there every day. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing. Watching how efficiently the team works together is inspiring. I had the Ruben and my friend had the turkey sandwich. Their bread is delicious. Sadly my friend accidentally dropped their sandwich on the floor and the owners were more than happy to replace it. Been eating here for months and I’m tired of my sandwich’s falling apart. I get my order for pick up and the way they wrap the sandwiches is terrible. For the price you pay you’d expect better takeout containers/bagging.

They literally just threw my sandwich in the bag with the paper all soaked up.. not acceptable I’m done spending money here.

This is the 5th time it happen to me. No longer supporting this business.
