Old school is the best way to describe it. The food was excellent. I've been visiting this restaurant for 20 years whenever I come to Lincoln.

This happened a few months a go but i still think a review is deserved. I walked in with my daughter right at closing due to hours not being updated. I didnt want to be THAT person so I was about to leave, the owner or manager...? Was SO nice he insisted that we dine in and didn't rush us at all. Also the food was fresh and delicious and I love how I can see exactly how it's prepared. I will add this place into our regular Mexican food rotation now.

I just ate her tonight with three friends.We all loved it. Fantastic prices and superb superb superb super burritos. Friendly helpful lady behind the counter helped me order and we 4 got to eat at a big long spacious counter. Also lots of tables. I have eaten at over 30 San Francisco burrito places since 1992 and this place beats them all for price and quality. Just sayin.

This is a solid, family owned Mexican spot in downtown Lincoln. While it's a bit small and unassuming, the food is excellent and the service is great! Definitely give the different salsas a try, my personal favorite is the spicy salsa. They have a good variety of options on the menu, and nothing is too expensive. If you're looking for Mexican in Lincoln, give these guys a shot!

Carne asada was tough and dry. Chicken was tender, but lacked flavor. Beans and rice lacked flavor. Service was friendly, but not attentive. I was disappointed after reading so many good reviews.

I will always remember the time we went to mi pueblito and the shared bathroom was continuously running and draining into the kitchen. The place was packed! It always has been popular. We have moved about 7 years ago and recently dined there after our grand daughters game. The service was fantastic, they had the perfect table for a party our size. The food is delicious.
