First time here tonight (Jan 25), first time eating Puerto Rican food. I loved it. So tasty, well seasoned and rich. Folks from outside the USA that say we have bland food…we have a hidden secret, this style is amazing. I will be back and look forward to it, perfect buffet.

I wanted to get the buffet that day, was hoping to get chinese buffet but made mistake and went into mexican buffet.
To be honest it wasnt a mistake.
Food was very good, but there was not plenty of choices.
I really loved the ribs and yellow rice.

When I’m craving something yummy where I may choose a wide variety of flavorful Puerto Rican foods. I come here. I always get sleepy after eating here because I’m very satisfied with the choices of flavorful food and the friendly staff.

Mesa Buffet is one of the most delightful dining experiences I’ve had in Springfield. The food is mouth-watering—a rich, flavorful celebration of Latino cuisine, with what I believe are Puerto Rican and Dominican roots. Every bite was satisfying and soulful, and the buffet gave me so much variety and value. I’m so glad I went that route—it was worth every penny and more.

The vibes here? Immaculate. The interior is dreamy, light, and refreshingly beautiful. It’s the kind of place that instantly lifts your mood. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the polished, attentive service throughout, the whole experience felt seamless and special.

A very special shoutout to Amauri, who truly went above and beyond. He attended to me with perfect timing, insight, and suave kindness—he just knew how to make me feel at ease and help me enjoy myself to the fullest. Absolutely stellar customer service across the board.

I can’t wait to bring my whole family here. Thank you, Mesa Buffet, for such a lovely and uplifting experience. I’ll be dreaming of that meal until I come back again!

Host at the door should not be working the door. She is so rude. We have to pay upfront and I asked what age was kids. She looked at my daughter and said she is an adult. Not telling me the age. $2 99 for fountain drinks and only 1 refill. But they never came to give the refill. We had to go with our cups and host had a whole attitude. Some food needed to be cooked longer ro be softer. Over all good. Just definitely needs better service. Don't expect tip for no service.

Let start off the food was very good fresh no complaints about the food. The customer service was very terrible their was this one lady who kept giving me and my group of friends dirty looks
And watching us every time one of use goes up to get food she was so rude and at the end when they had a spot where we can take pictures the same lady kept giving bad looks and rolling her use it was disrespectful and disgusting their was time where I was getting food and so many people that were working was staring, and it felt like they were counting the amount of times you were getting food and it change because it was never like that.
Overall the place was clean and nice but terrible customer service.

Really love that there’s a Spanish buffet. We love going, food is consistent and it’s good. You pay everything up front before they seat you which is a little different. The reason why I didn’t give them a higher rating was the dessert. We always grab a few desserts. Tembleque had mold on it! I know it was mold because it was fuzzy and grayish, don’t tell me it’s cinnamon. I’ve even had enough tembleque to know what it looks like. Maybe it’s because we went on a weekday, who knows.

The food was absolutely DELICIOUS. I've been to many carribean/spanish restaurants, but never have I been to a spanish buffet that serves food THIS good. I highly recommend going during lunchtime if you're looking for comfort food such as their sorullos, empanadas, flan, and other authentic foods. All of their food was full of flavor, and their desserts, such as their cheese flan, were perfectly sweet and reminded me of home. Foods I recommend here are their sorullos, fried cheese, empanadas, their sweet plantains, fried chicken, their rice, chicken nuggets, cheese flan, I'm not familiar with the name of this dessert it's the white pudding with cinnamon on top near the flan, and their fruits. The staff was super nice and welcoming to me and my family, and the interior decorations were very appealing near the entrance. This'll definitely be my go-to place for when I come back to Springfield. 5 stars, keep up the good work!
