Absolutely amazing place with any kind of accommodation you could ask for. Grocery store is nearby, there is a central kitchen to cook at, and the most beautiful lake centered in between a very majestic, mountainous property. Mackenzie and her crew are the absolute sweetest and so helpful for anything you need. 100% recommend

Owner is a great host and very accommodating. Quick to respond to voicemail. Huge space with lots of fun things to do. Stayed here in the winter. Wish I could see it in the summer.

Staff is on-site and responsive. The Stage House is charming with a great layout. We saw bunnies and many deer whole there for 4 days, 3 nights <3

I absolutely love Mendocino Magic! I have been visiting for a number of years and can’t get enough of it. I really appreciate how helpful and kind the staff are. In addition, it’s so incredibly beautiful. The lake is often the perfect temperature. I love using the kayaks and canoes and taking night hikes to see the stars (which are uninterrupted due to no light pollution). This is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a magic getaway 🙂

This was my first time to Mendocino Magic, and I was blown away on how beautiful it was! In a place with no light pollution, you could clearly see stars, and the lake was fun for kayaking! This was the perfect place to escape the city and breathe in clean air and there are even glamping tents where you can enjoy sleeping on a mattress if you do not own a tent! Mackenzie and staff were very friendly and I can’t wait until I can come back!

Stayed in a tent (five stars for outdoor showers when you’re camping! ❤️)

Omg the reservoir, the shade, the common spaces, and the people who manage the property—this place is stellar! I’m so glad I got to experience the magic! Thanks Chuck and Mac!

Absolutely awesome time at Mendocino Magic this weekend looking for the Aurora Borealis. McKenzie and team have such a welcoming approach to the property, and it has an amazing combination of water, views, and nature. 11/10 would recommend a visit!

The team at Mendocino Magic is awesome -- caring, dedicated, and fun, putting their guests' enjoyment first. I stayed in the Sawmill Cabin, a cozy little gem with a private porch and I fell asleep to singing frogs. The whole property is truly magic, from the trees, reservoir, to sweeping views, and super easy to access off the 101, although private and remote. It was too cold to swim but the cabin was warm, and I'm excited to come back in the summer for a festival or the Perseids Meteor Shower Campout!||I felt 100% safe in the cabin, on the property, and with all the staff and guests. The staff is truly lovely and passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for their guests.|||Thank you, Mackenzie and team, for giving me such a beautiful stay (and tacos!)! Can't wait to see you all again.|
