Mendocino farms catering is top tier! We got it for a product meeting and it exceeded all expectations. I loved the couscous, the crowd favorite was the bacon and steak chimichurri. Thank you so much Holly, Victoria and Kat, you guys are the best.

I met Holly Ward and Andy the LaJolla location GM at Mission Valley mall when they were there with other restaurants promoting their businesses and I entered the contest to win lunch for my office. I was absolutely ecstatic when I won and my office was so impressed with the amazing lunch Holly delivered to us!! The sandwiches and sides, salad and cookies were so delicious and they accommodated everyone’s dietary restrictions!
My favorite was the Steak and Bacon Chimichurri sandwich and also thoroughly enjoyed the Quinoa and Avocado Superfood Salad….and the cookies were great too!! I highly, highly recommend trying their catering for your next event, I know our manager plans to!!!

This restaurant is phenomenal. I got “The Happy Hippie” and it absolutely melted in my mouth. It’s a healthier sandwich choice, that doesn’t feel boring. There’s so much going on and it is absolutely chalked full of flavor and ingredients. I also love the amount of food items you can customize to be vegan, like with “The Happy Hippie” you can opt to remove the cheese and change the bread, as well as just the amount of vegetarian options they have on their menu. Good price range for what will certainly fill you up and the atmosphere if you choose to dine in is bright and chic. Some tables even have outlets if your phone is constantly dead like mine is.

A spacious and airy health-forward restaurant next to BJ’s Brewhouse. They serve a range of interesting salads, sandwiches, and soups. Atmosphere is great, and the place always seems pretty clean. They serve beer and wine, but have no sodas available. They do serve a few types of lemonade and tea, which all give me a slight Panera vibe.

The Chinese chicken salad is really tasty. It’s cool that they got kale and spinach to pair well with a mustard sesame dressing. The sweet peach and goat cheese salad is good too, but the flavor profile is kind of all over the place—a lot of it has to do with the vinaigrette that comes with it. The acidity is kind of odd with the sweet peach and goat cheese.

Food and drinks are excellent. Every time I order here for pick up, the wait time is much longer than the estimated. Last time the site stated it would be ready in 20 minutes, but it took 65 minutes. It is consistently much too long of a wait given their time estimate.

Wife and I had a delicious lunch at this place. Tried the not so fried chicken sandwich and lemon chicken farro soup. Wife had the turkey salsa verde sandwich with potatoes salad. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. We made our own Arnold Palmer with lemonade and black tea- delicious. Special thanks to the staff.

Only two small critiques here. The men’s bathroom is super small and can only accommodate one at a time, so a line is pretty much always building. The floor had a lot of water on it as well. Not sure if there was a leak or if people are just careless. Second critque, the water from the fountain machine tasted awful. I had to basically spit it out. All in all, I would eat there again.

I order from this location at least once a week, and have had a strong experience with the staff and the food. Andy Cohen is the General Manager and I've received very strong customer service from him and his staff. I wholeheartedly recommend eating at this location, and Mendocino Farms in general.
