The food was okay but not great. I ordered the strawberry waffles with 2 eggs and ham. The ham was not very good. Chewy, grissley not great quality. The waffles were average and the portions were decent. The prices were extremely reasonable and the service was great. Above par. The milkshakes are also above par. We ordered coffee and butterscotch.

Impressive, we were a party of 8 with 3 kids we got seated quickly. (They were busy) Someone came immediately to get our drink order, the drinks weren't even all out and the server was there to get the order. Food was also served within 15 minutes. Refills were offered consistently by multiple staff members. The plates were also cleared almost instantly when we finished. I can't remember the last time I had service like this. Thank you

First time to go to Mel and Faye's Diner. Two of us went for breakfast. I had biscuits and gravy and eggs benedict. (That was a special of the day). The biscuits and gravy were amazing. We were told that they buy the meats from a butcher down the street. You can really tell it in the flavor. My spouse had chicken, fried steak and gravy and a waffle. This place is a must go to on your next adventure through or to Jackson.

It's a nice place for tourists and it's filled with locals as well. We had a very simple breakfast and it was fine. Eggs, beef patty, toats, and a waffle. Everything was hot and cooked correctly. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean and the staff obviously worked together to keep it that way. It's definitely the place to eat while in Jackson.

Delicious food, generous portion sizes and reasonably priced. ♡ The ladies were all very nice and quick on refills. The restroom was clean and pleasant. The environment was fun and enviting. We had a lovely breakfast and will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Food was delicious. We had chicken fried steak, french dip, french toast and the vegetarian omelet. We also had super amazing coconut cream pie and a banana shake along with a peanut butter and Oreo shake. Service really makes the place way above par. It is noisy, but that's kind of to be expected from family friendly restaurants in general. My wife and daughters had been here before, this was my first time. I will definitely be back and be telling others I know.
