Very nice place with an old cafeteria vibe. The prices are very good! I had the turkey/dressing/mashed potatoes and Veggies. It was delicious. My husband had the lasagna and he said it was really good. So many options for entrees, sides and desserts that you just want to put everything on your tray.

Great local place we love to stop at when in the area. It is very well known and visited by the locals. The restaurant is large and can accommodate a lot of people. It is clean and the staff is friendly. The food is hot, fresh and you don’t have to wait for it. You can enjoy a nice meal with friends or you grab something for a quick bite because it’s already prepared. Like is said the food is very good, but it is very reasonable priced. Two meals and a drink was $18. In today’s work you can barely eat one fast food meal for that price. Highly recommend Mehlman’s if you are in the area.

Mehlman's has the best "home cooked" meals in the world. My family has been dining here my entire life and it has remained consistently amazing over the years. It is cafeteria style so there is nostalgia of school lunches. The staff pours themselves into their service and treat all the patrons with kindness. I always make it a point to visit when I am in the Ohio Valley area. It is a must try!

If you are going for the food and the price, most of it is great! Atmosphere and service, not so much. It's cafeteria style. Some yummy foods we have tried there are baked ham, turkey dressing and mashed potatoes and gravy, the city chicken, spaghetti, stuffed green pepper, green beans. We did Not care for the dry pot pie, the coleslaw, or the cheesecake.

I felt like I stepped back into the 90’s; back when prices were reasonable, people were nice, and service staff cared about their customers. I got off the highway looking for lunch, never been here before. I try to find the great local places while traveling. Let me tell you, this is one of the GREATEST local places. I had a huge plate of ribs, side salad, side of steamed veggies, side of beets, and an iced tea for eighteen bucks. It appears to be a mature crowd here, mostly, which is a bonus. They’re polite, friendly, talkative. The five minutes I spent waiting in line were some of the most interesting conversation I’ve ever had with people I don’t know.

This place is excellent and amazing!! I travel a lot so when in on the area I shop here. It's like eating at my grandma's house back in the day. I highly highly highly recommend this place. They also have homemade pies that melt in your mouth.

It has been ages since I've been to a cafeteria inspired restaurant. While I do admit the interior is a throwback to the retro ages, the food was spectacular with customer service being above par. Plenty of space between the tables too.
