We had the most wonderful stay with Cindy and Lloyd for a birthday weekend getaway! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and cared for. They had everything set up perfectly for our celebration package—chocolate-covered strawberries, sparkling wine, fresh flowers, and a beautiful charcuterie board waiting for us when we walked in. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the whole weekend feel extra special.

Cindy and Lloyd are truly incredible hosts—so warm, attentive, and helpful. They gave us amazing restaurant recommendations for the area and even prepared an early breakfast for us the morning we set out to hike Old Rag. Speaking of breakfast… every single one was absolutely delicious! You can tell a lot of love goes into each meal. And don’t even get me started on the fresh cookies that were always on hand—a sweet treat we looked forward to every day!

The cabin was spotless, cozy, and inviting. We especially loved curling up with a book by the fire in the main living space—it was the perfect place to unwind. The whole property is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful setting, but just a short drive from some lively towns with fantastic food and charm.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate or better people to host us. Highly recommend this gem of a bed and breakfast—and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Meadowlark is a gem situated in one of the most beautiful places in the United States! Cindy and Lloyd are gracious hosts who welcomed us and assisted with resources for local fly fishing opportunities (there are many!). We stayed only one night, and the accommodations were top shelf...from bedding to bathroom amenities to the fresh, expansive breakfast! Thank you!!

A very quaint BnB! Cindy, Lloyd and Don do a wonderful job setting the ambiance. The space is very clean, aesthetically beautiful, yet comfortable— it was the perfect backdrop for a moms’ night out! The breakfast was hearty, delicious and thoughtful. We all wanted the recipe for the “fall” (fruit) salad! A great experience. Highly recommend to solo travelers, couples, or friends seeking out a balance of adventure and solace!

I had a fantastic time. The B&B is nice and cozy, and the breakfast was delicious and filling. The area is nice and quiet with beautiful views. I love the bird details around the place and being able to sit and watch the birds as we ate breakfast.

Robin and Jeff are super. This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful location away from everything. Our interest was to stay in a rural area instead of an urban hotel or downtown BnB. Jeff is an executive chief and the breakfast was sensational. I understand he and Robin will prepare dinner for an additional price. The outdoor sitting areas, especially the back patio, are comfortable, well kept, and nice for relaxation; a short walk down the road brings you to beautiful views of the Shenandoah Valley and farms. We plan to return for another stay.

We had a wonderful time at Meadowlark Ridge B&B. Great place! Nice and cozy and very clean. The homemade breakfast was wonderful! We sat on the front porch in the morning and they have a wonderful backyard patio, we used in the afternoon and at night they lit the chiminea fireplace, which was great. Jaimi and Ryan were awesome! They were always available if we needed anything and they gave great recommendations of things to do. We visited multiple wineries and the National Chimneys Park. We also hiked the trail on the property and took walks around the area. It was a great trip, we will definitely be back.

Our group of four women had a delightful time inside, outside, upstairs, and downstairs at the quaint Meadowlark Ridge B&B. Our plan was to hunker down on-site to play Mahjong. Sandy and Neil kept us well fed with charcuterie board, home-made soup-Greek salad-bread for dinner, and hummus platter with veggies for late night noshing. A great selection of wine was on-hand from nearby Bluestone Winery. Neil kept the downstairs fire blazing. It was unseasonably warm that February weekend, so we played on the back patio, then moved inside to the upstairs library, then after dinner played in the main room with the fireplace warmth. Absolutely cozy and delightful. Incredible views from every window. The house was impeccably clean and furniture comfortable. Sandy and Neil were attentive and non-intrusive making sure we had anything we needed during our stay.

We stayed at Meadowlark Ridge for three nights, and really enjoy the stay. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were perfect, the towels were the fluffiest. Jamie and Ryan were the most congenial hosts. On top of all of their local recommendations, they just made us feel so welcome. Jamie‘s breakfasts were amazing. For those of you that are birdwatchers, this is a good spot. They’ve managed to attract a lot of birds with the plants. We’ve already booked our next stay!
