My partner and I were passing through Calistoga on a spontaneous midweek getaway, and booked a night in the Meadowlark's "pool house" room. We wished we could have stayed longer! This is a lovely, relaxed place to spend time, and Kurt (the owner) was a great host. Lovely rooms, solid communication, excellent location.

As mentioned, we stayed in the Pool House, which is a separated 2-bedroom cottage directly next to the pool and hot tub. We appreciated the comfy king beds, the relaxed TV area with fireplace, and the full kitchen. Even though there's a moderately busy road nearby, the soundproofing was excellent...even light sleepers would be comfortable here.

Just had the most incredibly romantic stay for an anniversary. The property is beautiful! Horses, chickens, various flowers everywhere. The rooms are spotless and are charming. Not cookie cutter hotel rooms. Each is individualized and has its own theme. Kurt, the owner, is the most genuine/kind/funny person you will meet. They provide a delicious breakfast and we had a great morning conversation with him. This was out first time at a clothing optional pool area. At first we were going to wear our bathing suites but the first day it was just us and we enjoyed the hot spring filled hot tub nude. It was so freeing! The next day there were 3 other nude people and we felt completely comfortable nude with them. It is not sexual at all. I highly reccomend this place to anyone. They just earned us as frequent guests!

We lucked out finding this place on a very short notice trip up to Calistoga. The grounds are big and beautiful, complete with horses. Our room (the pool house) was spacious with two king beds (one adjacent to the living room sofa downstairs and one upstairs in a more private room). We loved the big comfy sofa and the fireplace. It made a great spot to get cozy and watch a movie while it rained outside. There is also a large bathroom, and a full kitchen. The pool house is physically separate from the rest of the main house, which is a short walk down the driveway. As the name implies, the Pool House is just steps to the pool, where you can lounge with other guests, or you can opt to hang out on your own private deck. The pool, hot tub and sauna was right outside of our living room door. Due to the time of year, we were the only guests at the inn. We got the chance to view most of the other rooms in the inn, and I can say, each room looked super comfortable and many had private patios. We had a lovely breakfast with great conversation with the owner, and we also got to meet his cute dog. The inn is dog friendly, adults only, and the pool is clothing optional. We can't wait to come back on our next visit. Our only regret is not staying longer!

Such a lovely experience here. All the amenities you could ask for, conveniently located near downtown, with a relaxing spa area. Kurt is an amazing host, and sincerely cares for his guests. Beautiful area and an enjoyable stay guaranteed.

The inn’s location is unbeatable—not only is it close to all the best spots in Calistoga, but it’s also nestled in a quaint, serene setting that includes the delightful company of beautiful horses. It’s a magical touch that adds to the charm of this incredible place.

Beautiful bed and breakfast outside Calistoga in a perfect location for visiting Napa and Sonoma wineries. Kurt the owner is a charming gentleman who joins guests each morning for breakfast with Bentley the golden doodle. We stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful time. Each room is unique, highly recommend the Meadow House cottage.

My husband and I spent two nights, the spa pool is wonderful, and the grounds are luscious. The suite was booked, so we had to take a small, cramped room. The food at breakfast was good and made more enjoyable in conversation with the other guests.
