We love this place! We go to Juneau every year for our anniversary and this place is a must visit when we go. Always great service. The Halibut fish and chips is some of the best I've ever had. The cocktails are always great, my husband tried the citrus mule and it's now it's his favorite drink. If I had to say something that was not the best I'd say don't order the fried jalapeño they were disappointing. But everything else was amazing. Oh and do the right thing and sub the sweet potato fries they are to die for

CRAB CAKES WERE AMAZING.. truly carried the rest of the meal and if i had only eaten that i would have given 5 stars... but the chicken fingers 😭 they were really dry, tough, and flavorless, and literally as small as your middle finger... it sucks because theyre so expensive, at 18.99 for 3 chicken tender pieces youd be expecting something higher quality. i felt kinda ripped off. in the picture attached you can see theyre literally the size of a french fry?!?!... at least the fries were good. if youre coming here, get the crab cakes but if youre a chicken tenders fan SKIP THIS. the service is pretty good!

We asked a local where the best fish and chips were in town and they pointed us here. It is a dive bar but the fish was so amazing that we didn't care. Great food and good value. Would eat here again in a minute.

Seafood combo basket was delicious! Large shrimp, tasty halibut, and freshly-made crab cakes made in-house. They also make their sauces in-house. Nice atmosphere. On the way to Mendenhall Glacier, it’s a great place for lunch.

We've been long time customers, I absolutely love some of their dishes. Their beer cheese is what keeps us coming back. It's the best in town.

But this latest visit they tried passing off what tasted like que bueno nacho cheese as the beer cheese. It's not what we paid for. If this was a isolated event I'd call them and ask for compensation, but this is the 3rd time this has happened. If you go here and order the nachos or cheese steak, ask them if it's home made beer cheese or store bought.

The friendly staff make the experience even better, always providing excellent service with a smile. Whether you're there for the game or just a good meal, McGivney's never disappoints.I celebrated my birthday recently, the staff were accommodating about special request as you can see in the photo of the unique nachos.

Came here with the family and we all had a fantastic time. The service was great, and we all loved our food. We’re Definitely coming back next time we’re in town. If you’re looking for a place with good burgers and great service, this is the spot!

I strongly suggest don't order take out. My husband ate inside with his friends and food was good.
Got take out and paid $40+. Only 6 small wings for $19 and my ceaser salad had no dressing on it. Threw away most because it was just dry lettuce, I live in a hotel and have no dressing. Very sad. Staff was nice, we will try again hopefully
