I usually like latte certain temperature, but this time it was perfect for the weather we had here. It was really hot and stayed hot for a long time.

We visited this cafe twice. The vibe is cozy and warm. Lots of art pieces throughout the cafe to admire.
We ordered hot chocolate, cappuccino and con panna. All were well crafted. Coffee drinks are strong. They also roast their own coffee beans

I tried a medium roast there without milk and cream and it was delicious. I normally get a light roast as I like my coffee without sugar and cream.

As a roaster I hoped/expected to see a wider variety of beans, for instance, to be made as pour over upon request. But it is understandable that in a small town like Fairbanks this may not make a viable business model.

Anyway, if you want a coffee better than Starbucks and a local roast this place is a very good option. Last but not least, apparently this place has live music events.

Before sunrise, I walked to the coffee house for warm coffee, ignoring the 12 degree weather.
The jalapeno and cheese bagel was very good, too.
Feeling nourished and warm, I walked along the Chena River to Pioneer Park.
