Older facility but very clean. Very reasonable price. Super friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. Good location to get to Cass, Greenback and Snowshoe.

Great little mom and pop motel in the middle of the mountains. The motel itself is dated but it’s kept very clean. Beds were very comfortable and had a quiet nights sleep. This motel isn’t a glitz and glamour chain hotel, but it’s a great value for what you get in a remote mountain area.

This is our second stay here for our weekend ski trip to Snowshoe - perfect for the two of us, and very affordable. They gave us one of the newer or more recently renovated(?) rooms on the first floor, close to the office, which was a pleasant surprise. (Their older, more dated rooms are still great - clean, plenty of space, enough to sleep 5, closet and storage space, a lot of countertop/bathroom countertop space, tv, mini fridge, coffee maker). The newer room also sleeps 5, has laminated floors, direct tv, also clean, plenty of space, closet space, a lot of countertop space, mini fridge, coffee maker, nicer shower/tub and bathroom sink, more power outlets. No microwaves though, but there is one in the office lobby as well as a vending machine and coffee maker. There’s also plenty of parking. There are a few pretty good restaurants (we tried Alfredo’s Italian & Greek and Dirtbean) in the nearby town that is about 5mins away, and a gas station next door, which is convenient. The roads to Snowshoe are doable and not narrow compared to if we stayed at previous accommodations elsewhere. It’s about a 35-45min drive depending on road conditions. We’ll definitely continue to stay here for our ski trips to save money whenever we’re not staying on-site at Snowshoe.

This is an older motel BUT it was clean and worked for us - we just needed a bed to sleep in for one night. The front desk lady was pleasant and helpful. It is only 1/2 hour from Snowshoe Ski resort.

Overall a pretty good option for staying relatively near snowshoe, it’s about 30-40 minutes away in good weather. The room has a tv and coffee pot along with a fridge. They have a slot room and a bar at the front desk building.

7/11/2024. We stayed here two nights. It is a decent place to stay. Rooms were clean and bigger than most. Bare essentials but had what you need. The shower was good, but the beds sucked. If you are in the area and you need a place to stay for a night or two, it's not bad, but if you are staying any longer, look for somewhere else.
