First time I ever loved fried oysters. I prefer raw, but this was outstanding. Seafood was great, but for you culinary nerds, the real star was the turnip greens side. Outstanding dark yet subtle flavor not achieved with ham-fisted gimmicks like "liquid smoke." Gumbo also dark and subtle flavor. Wow! I was already eating regarding photo:

Omg this was one of my favorite stops while in town on vacation. Nikki was an amazing server. Provided me with great suggestions I originally came in for the Bloody Mary, then we ordered the duck and seafood gumbo then calamari next the sampler dish with fish, crab, oysters and hush things (?) we then ended with an amazing coconut cheesecake. I will definitely be back again.

Great seafood here. Always fresh. Love the shrimp and oysters especially. Clean little dive, good people. Safe recommendation for friends and family traveling along interstate 10 looking for some good seafood. It’s right off the interstate. Parking is a beast though, very limited.

Me & my 2 sisters ordered the fried seafood platter, fish fillet was red snapper, crab claws, oysters, shrimp, 2hush puppies, 2 sides. Fried okra & cheese grits, salads. I was not disappointed. The cook did a great job everything was hot & fried to perfection & very fresh. I’m sure the seafood was local.
I look forward to eating here again. Fast & friendly service.

TOTALLY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by quaint cozy restaurant! Food was exceptional!!
Key lime cheesecake was off the charts!!
Had never tried Trigger fish, so fresh and will most likely be a top pick from here forward!

The catfish , oysters & onion rings were delicious, and the service was very good, in spite of having a full house. My husband had the roast beef. He said it was very good too.
We visited on a Sunday after church.

The service was really great and the my give you for a dozen shrimp for the shrimp basket ? where I saw I only get about 8 at others. The Poboy had generous amount of shrimp too as you can see in a picture.

This is some GREAT EATING!! fried and grilled options don't pass on the greens!! Service was friendly and top notch!! The grilled catfish and shrimp was really good and would go right back next time I visit!! #1 Bloody Mary!!
