This is the second time we have stayed at the Marina Inn. Both times we have been in Anacortes for swim meets. This hotel is very close to the pool (5 minute drive). Our first visit was around 8 years ago. Both times I was thrilled with everything about our stay. First, the front desk staff is friendly, kind, and professional. The rooms were spotless and everything was in good condition. The breakfast was nice (all I really cared about was good, hot coffee and I got that). There are lots of great restaurants and coffee places close by. The cost is amazing considering how great this place is. The only thing to be aware of is that the bathroom (toilet and shower) is really small. It didnโ€™t bother us but some might feel cramped. Thank you Marina Inn. We will be back!

As islanders we stay at this motel when we need to be at an early morning appointment on the mainland, they are our preferred place to overnight in the area. Most rooms are away from the main drag so itโ€™s quiet. Heater not too noisy. The room was very clean. They do not use strong laundry/cleaner fragrances which is a huge plus for me. The bed was comfortable. Window opens if you want ventilation. Microwave and refrigerator. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free continental breakfast, the usual selections. They give a discount for islanders. Ample parking, off street. One entrance to motel, which makes for better security. Note: no elevator to second floor so get a ground floor room if thatโ€™s an issue for you.

Staff was very friendly, we were told differently about breakfast! Was told it was a hot continental breakfast but it was just a continental breakfast big difference! It would of been nice to have a pool or Hot tub! Beds were comfy n price was reasonable! May wanna consider Investing in a waffle maker though! Was centrally located in town!

I had an exceptional time during my check in to the Marina Inn. Not only is the hotel reasonably priced, has a great breakfast, but it is also very close to the ferry that goes out to the San Juan Islands. Capri, the person who checked me went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and the check in was effortless. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay here recently! We stayed a few days in a Jucuzzi King room!
The room was clean and well stocked with towels & soaps, there were extra blankets as well. The room had a pretty good view of the mountains & ocean as well.
The bed was very large and comfortable.
The room included a large TV that you can use for normal TV or ask for a smart TV remote. The TV was a bit slow to load things but worked fine! We used it to watch Hulu.
The Jucuzzi tub opens up on the bathroom side or the bedroom side which was interesting. Down side about the bathroom, there's less privacy, there's a glass shower door (fogged not completely clear) and a shower curtain separating it from the bedroom rather than an actual wall, so make sure you're comfortable with whoever you're staying with. I feel that a dark or patterned shower curtain would give it more of a private feeling.
Down side to the room is we couldn't figure out how to use the over head light, or it didn't work. Other than that it was great!

As far as food/breakfast...
It was fairly enjoyable and we had breakfast there almost every day. It's not hot breakfast, it's not a breakfast buffet.
There was hot coffee (which was good), hot chocolate, hot cider, and several kinds of tea. They also had a juice machine with a few kinds of juice.
There were muffins & cinnamon rolls.
Bagles, bread, cinnomon raisin bread & English muffins.
There were several kinds of cereal & oatmeal. Milk is supplied, but there were no milk alternatives set out for breakfast.
There were also boiled eggs, and several flavors of yogurt, as well as bananas.
There were also Eggos/toaster waffles. They were in with the bread, we felt that this was a bit odd as they're supposed to be frozen and should have at least been in the fridge.
Over all though, there was a good amount of breakfast foods!
They also have cookies available for guests each afternoon.

We also used the Inn's laundry matt & our clothes came out nice and clean with no problems!

As far as staff, they were really nice!
We seemed to get a strange look when first coming in to the Inn but we did look a bit rough from our long journey. Once we told them we had a reservation they didn't seem as confused and were happy to help. They said hi or asked how we were doing when we walked by the desk. They told us we could eat our lunch (pizza) in the breakfast dining room, and asked if we needed plates, which was great because the room we got didn't have a dining table or anywhere to eat.
They were really kind and helpful, they made us feel welcome!

Over all we loved our stay, the Inn was warm and comfortable. It was really clean & beautiful.
We would definitely recommend staying here, and hope to stay here next time we visit.

Quiet and comfortable hotel in a great location close to downtown Anacortes. I stayed one night on a business trip. The front desk is staffed which made checking in at 8pm easy. Staff are friendly and there are fresh-baked cookies in the lobby. They offer a continental breakfast in the morning and hot water for tea or cocoa all day.

The parking lot is easy to navigate and is situated along the building. The rooms were lovely: clean, quiet, and cozy. Check out in the morning was quick at the front desk. High recommend the Marina Inn.

I ALWAYS stay here when I'm in Anacortes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I like that they have 24 hour desk hours. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. They offer a nice variety for breakfast but always have cookies for you when you check in!

Marina Inn is a charming and quaint hotel with clean rooms, welcoming and diligent desk staff and cleaning staff. The location of this hotel is convenient and served as a great resting place for Locum tenans, doctor or nurses that are Locums, travelers on business and or those visiting Anacortes for all its beautiful sites. Marina Innโ€™s Sealy orthopedic beds granted us the best sleep we have had in years, better than 4 and 5 star options we have experienced.

All things we needed were made available for a family of 3. Manager of the hotel runs the establishment with great empathy, respect and care for guest needs.

Thankful for the time on our stint here. Staff noticeably would accommodate and anticipating our needs, EG opening front door for us before we got there at times or calling us before we drove too far to inform us of one of our sons small toys left in room upon check out. The amenities for its boutique size are still great: laundry room with onsite washer and dryer, work out room and an office areas with printer and desktop.

Mornings you have a light but appreciated continental breakfast. Next time in Anacortes, Washington we know exactly where to stay. Highly Recommended!!
