Tacos were delicious! Barbacoa and Pork belly. So good. Sat on the patio in the sun. Definitely coming back here.

Love Maria's. The food is so fresh and delicious. The service is quick and easy. Very friendly faces to greet and help you. Lovely indoor and outdoor seating. Maria's is such a delight! The last time I was here was roughly 10 years ago and I thought I had been romanticizing the past, but it was as good as I remember! The tamales was perfect, the masa was done to perfection! The flavor was balanced and authentic!
The sope was delicious as well! And is still my favorite dish there!
The Guacamole is worth the price! It's so delicious and priced below the competition!
Granted I live in the Bay Area so the prices are well below what I'm accustomed to, but even compared to local menus the value is amazing!
The restaurant is always clean and welcoming with nice music and a great ambiance.
I've always loved the service, but Maria remembers me from high school and always greats me with a hug, however I cannot imagine someone having a bad experience unless they created it themselves, when two people came in that appeared to have a life more difficult than my own came in to use the facilities Maria not only treated them with dignity and respect, but also offered them food and a table.
My love for this restaurant and the wonderful owner was definitely reinforced today after a long decade of not being in auburn to eat here!

Heard a lot about the delicious tacos. Wasn't too impressed. The meat needed more seasoning, and the corn tortillas didn't seem too fresh. Menudo was ok. It was spicy. Chips were alright. Salsa was hot but lacked flavor.
Tamales were dry. Green sauce was good.

Amazing Barbacoa. Maybe the best i have had. Or at least in the running.
Warning, Mild spice is decently hot. Just the way i like it. This place is awesome!!! I will stop here every chance i get.

We happened to see the sign from the highway and boy am I glad we stopped! I tried the Rolled Potato Goodness special that was recommended, and it exceeded my expectations! Perfectly prepared and seasoned, I couldn’t have asked for better. Come prepared to enjoy!

Spontaneously stopped here on the way home from Tahoe and had possibly the best burrito I’ve ever had. It was Big, had loads of flavor and no rice - just yummy !!

Great little find ! Great food all homemade sauces. Absolutely a must return and a highly recommend. Cute outside patio. Would love if they had coke products on the fountain.
