It is a small bakery. I assumed because it was Hispanic bakery, it would have had various options, but it only had a few. Their birria empanadas tasted delicious. They are more for a snack than to be considered a whole meal. Their Jamaica was perfectly sweetened. They provided friendly service .

I was so excited to try this place out since a coworker recommended their Norwalk location! The service was great, the workers seemed super nice and were helpful when I asked for recommendations. I got an iced cafe de olla, a couple tinga empanadas, and a picadillo burrito, and everything tasted great.

I really hate to give a 4 star review when they just opened, but in my opinion the size of burrito does NOT warrant the $9 price πŸ™
I was shocked when I opened the container and saw how tiny and skinny the burrito was (pictured with a kitchen knife and salsa container in comparison), especially when other restaurants in the area have larger portions for similar prices. Sadly, I definitely felt overcharged for what I got πŸ™
I wouldn't get a burrito here again, but the empandas were fire and the cafe was yummy so I'll definitely be back for those!

I ordered the mazapan concha, mazapan cold brew, and chorizo and egg torta. It was delicious! It is definitely my new brunch spot. The atmosphere is calm and just right for that morning cafecito.

It's a very nice place. The girls at the counter were very helpful and informative. I tried the horchata latte and the abuelita latte, they were ok. I also tried the chorizo and potato burrito. It was a lot smaller than they displayed in their promotional stuff in the store, and it was actually pretty bland. Their bake goods are really good, but apparently, they are not baked on site (if that's important to you).

Made a quick stop around 11am for coffee and pan dulce. The Dulce de Leche latte with Oat milk was quite tasty and the pan dulce was incredibly soft. No complaints.

Once I walked in I was automatically greeted by everyone at the register. Extremely friendly and very welcoming crew, I loved the experience! I've been going to Mariachi bakery since I found out about the Norwalk location and have also gone to the Downey location too. I was super excited that they ended up opening a location in Whittier. The coffee I had the tres leches Cold brew and elote pan dulce were excellent πŸ’―. The pan dulce was so good I even forgot to take a picture of it. Highly recommend others in Whittier to go to Mariachi Bakery Whittier for their coffee and pan dulce needs.

Coffee? Amazing, so many options. Staff is quick to help you decide on what drink to get. They're all so polite and wonderful. Breakfast tortas? Delicious, perfectly cooked. Their pan is so soft and baked beautifully. The cafe is always super clean, nicely decorated. Highly recommend visiting.

Thought this would be a Mexican bakery because of the name. They did have some but were all stale. Hard and dry. Definitely not fresh. Ladies there were extremely helpful though.
