Over all it was nice. We’re not from here so I don’t know what the comparison is. But we got avocado toast (boujie and regular) and a London fog. The bread was boring and there was hardly any avocado in the avocado toast. If you’re going to charge what you are, you need to put more of its namesake on it. And the London fog tasted more like warm vanilla milk cause they only steeped it for about a minute or two. Every place I’ve ever gone to leaves the tea bag in for us to decided.
But the people were really friendly, the atmosphere was cozy (albeit super burnt smelly on the day we went). Nice fireplace to chill by, big windows. It’s cool.

Well, I been coming here pretty often now. I never had an issue before, I was planning on leaving my review in a couple of weeks, and I'm doing it sooner 😅.
They are usually super nice and serve everyone with no issue until today. I kind of feel that one of the lady's that serve me didn't want me there. Sometimes you kinda feel it. The face the mood I don't know, first mimosa no problem. I usually take my time and take a while to finish it. I went to ask for a second one. She asked me to bring the first glass back, and give it to her. It never happened before, I usually go and put it on the dish place while they serve me a second one.
Not this time and again the face like she was tired, annoyed or something I can't figure it out.
After a while, I ask for an avocado toast that is delicious with cherry tomatoes and balsamic vinegar, yummy. They put it in a box that I can't eat it properly, even though I was seated for a while, but I was consuming their products. They usually put their food in regular plates when you are eating there, not this time, I have to rip the box to be able to cut pieces and eat it. Again, it may be just this time. Or the girl just doesn't want me there. I have no idea. I'm not saying not to go. But I'm giving my experience.

Fabulous coffee shop! The barista was friendly and skilled, so my coffee was delicious and my latte was perfect. The interior is attractive with brick walls, huge windows, nice art, good music, lovely plants, beautiful ceiling tiles and lighting. Great place to hang out!

The "Damn Good Chai" we ordered was delicious! My husband had some dietary restrictions and the staff was SUPER helpful and willing to go out of their way to thoroughly check ingredient lists for us. The vibe in the cafe is cozy and chill. Definitely would go again and recommend it to family and friends. 🙂

Great find. Came here on a recommendation from a local as I needed a place to get some work done in a relatively quiet and spacious place. Mak Daddy is perfect.

Parking was easy with the free public lots nearby. The environment when you walk in is inviting and cozy - natural lights, wood construction, plants and the smell of baked goods.

Menu is extensive! Lots of drink options, from basic coffees to extravagant non-coffee drinks and plenty of snacks / food options. They serve breakfast all day and have a host of sandwich options.

The downstairs basement was great for my purposes - bigger tables and plenty of seats to either study or work. And it wasn’t terribly crowded.

Overall, great spot.

One of those can’t miss downtown coffee shops. Have to give this place a five star review after a quick visit in Yakima.

Walked in right behind a man who greeted the staff by name and was in turn greeted by name. They knew his order and nearly had it ready before he arrived.

The space is super neat. Upstairs has ample seating, but if it’s packed, there’s a basement with plenty of tables to work or game.

I got the cold brew and a breakfast burrito. Can’t beat the prices. Cold brew is a bit on the coffee-er side (not a bad thing), so if you like mellow, just get an extra pump of syrup.

Breakfast burrito is one of the best I’ve had. Torta like crispy shell with a perfect balance of egg, chorizo, and cheese. I only wish I would’ve asked for salsa.

The decor in the shop is really neat and gives the space a great laid back feel to it, which is what you want when you want to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, my latte was kind of a let down both in flavor and output. I ordered it iced, but got it hot. The flavor tasted off. As for the cinnamon roll, I don’t recommend heating it up like I did, because it ruins the bread and just makes it taste terrible. The heating was not their fault. They seem to be a popular choice in town, so if I’m ever in town I’ll give them a second try.
