Beautiful rooms, great location, bakery and coffee shop across the street. Located within a block of tour bus, haunted event planning, and multiple restaurants with a couple blocks. Walk the length of about five blocks, everything you need for a great weekend getaway.

Fantastic location. Check in and check out were seamless. We arrived late at night for the town and was easy to get to our room. Inn is on second floor so you need to make sure you are good with the stairs. Room was great. We stayed in the European room 4 which was a little bigger and was nice to have the extra room. Little munchies in the common area was a nice treat. Love our stay!

Amazingly cute hotel! It has a vintage asthetic and so clean. Typically with older hotels, you find old furniture and/or uncomfortable beds, but surprisingly, the beds were extremely comfortable - with the softest sheets! I will definitely be staying here again! The service was also so friendly!

We’ve stayed many times over the last several years. It’s cozy and intimate. Feels like home away from home. We love that we can park our car for the weekend and enjoy Galena without driving. We don’t get back in our vehicle until we have to head home.

Rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable; only complaint would be the toilet is small and on the short side. The location is great, right at the south end of Main Street and the assigned parking makes it even better. Service could have been better, we used the coffee maker in our room and the coffee was not replenished, we looked for some regular coffee in the public area and it only had decaf. There want any regular sugar in the room either. Dirty coffee cups were not removed, trash cans were not emptied. This isn't a reason for us to not return, just noticable.

Charming, small in in downtown Galena (6 en-suites). Akin to a stay in a 19th century home. Our room was notably spacious and surprisingly quiet given its Main Street address. Innkeeper was very friendly and check-in /out process was simple. The room was spacious and clean. Had everything we needed to be comfortable in our stay. The stay was comfortable and quiet. There was access to ice, board games, menus to local restaurants in the main room and the innkeeper left candies, and granola bars for the guests to enjoy.

The rooms were beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Loved that we had access to a refrigerator and microwave and ice. My husband was thrilled that even though we were in a historic hotel, our room had a television. We'll be back.
