Hotel is rat infested and has been for many years along with a long list of health code violations, safety violations, etc. management needs to take a customer service refresher course and possibly anger management classes. To throw a mother and 2 children out in the middle of winter in the middle of a big storm with her room had been paid for already is uncalled for. I would never recommend this rat infested hotel to even my worst enemies. Your better off going down the road to uptown hotel then this hell hole

I know it seems strange to give a five star review to what is basically the Bates Motel, but this place has earned every one. Quiet, comfortable, convenient. It is definitely old, but there is nothing negative to say. The people could not have been nicer. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. There is really no reason to stay anywhere else. The bar and grill that is attached is great. Sports on TVs everywhere, excellent food, and dang good drinks.

I absolutely loved this place. I arrived really early and I was accommodated with an early check in. The owner is so lovely. She is the type of person you just want to drink a beer with. I could hear her stories all night. This place is close to great Whale watching. She helped me all throughout my stay. I will only stay here from now on when I’m in Kenai. The bar attached has great beer and burgers too. I highly recommend staying here

My boyfriend and I called unknowingly after they closed and they found us a room, stayed and waited for us to get there to get checked in, even gave us more things to explore as Alaskan locals from Fairbanks. Amazing experience!

Owner and staff are wonderful and friendly! They have a great bar and restaurant attached to hotel with great food and delicious drinks! Tell the bartender Clyde sent you!

Gave the bartender 100 dollar bill to pay for my first drink and to get change, was handed back about 13 bucks... when I told the bartender he'd made a mistake, instantly called security, started yelling at me that I needed to leave and not come back.... asking around town this is the norm at mainstreet, but there's one thing in common with all the bad stories, the same bartender... needless to say, me my family and friends no long ever come to this establishment due to this happening to multiple people I know... avoid

Absolutely wonderful, my daughter had an accident, so I came up here to get her was looking for a nice hotel and they really fit the bill. So helpful and accommodating I can’t say enough, very clean rooms, great price, and you have to go to the grill great staff and live music and very good food. Thank you for being there in my time of need.
