Folks, the food was luke warm to cold. Server was pleasant & efficient. Ambiance is fine. I had asked server if salad was in fresh hot taco bowl vs on chips & assured it was fresh hot bowl. And it was a taco bowl, but nothing about it was hot, not even the hamburger. The meatloaf needed to be Nuked longer, obviously warmed up & mashed potatoes were questionably instant. Perhaps it was an off day at Magill's, just want to share our experience to help you make your dining decisions.

Huge portions, like really big! Went for bfast on Easter Sunday early, no wait. Full bar with a fun and large menu for the size of the place. Cordial and friendly service. Hollandaise sauce is a bit on the sweeter side for my liking.

We came on an Easter Sunday for brunch with a large party so there was a wait which we were fine with. By the time they were able to get us sat the restaurant was slowing down. Food took a long time, again we were a larger party. My breakfast was not as good as I remembered. You get huge portions but they were not cooked the best. Hash-browns were not quite done and pancakes were huge but burnt I couldn’t eat them. Chicken fried steak was soggy not very crispy. My daughter did enjoy her chicken sandwich and husband liked his jalapeño burger. So we might try some dinner if we come again.

Staff were very friendly and the food maybe the best in the Tri-city.
One draw back they only have 1 bathroom so the wait can take some time to get your hands washed.
Well worth the stop, so if your on the road to life and find your self out here. Stop in and get something good to eat my fellow Google travelers.
Please share and like.

The server was super rude to my wife, she was all smiles for me but then didn't even let my wife finish her order. Left after we got our food to then get shots at the front counter in uniform while we could get any refills on drinks and after we went to the counter to get refiles another server said he didn't know he was suppose to help out table as he was going to all the tables around us. We had to get our own boxes from the counter again since he never came back. Love the food but the service was terrible.

We are here every Monday morning, for the past year. This place feels, like coming to your aunts house for breakfast. Food never disappoints and the service is over the top. Highly recommend.

Amazing diner experience with amazing people. They are genuine and caring. They also really think and help veterans and active duty military.
Food is great, hot, and homemade.
The atmosphere is definitely homey, lots of wood, and pictures.
My family and I always come here for birthdays, celebrations, or just for a good eating experience.

Two of us came in for a Saturday breakfast about 9:45 am. The place was hopping and we were told the wait was about 20 minutes out we could sit at the bar. We sat at the bar and it was like a normal diner bar.

My wife ordered the bacon-avo omelette with hash browns. I ordered the meat lover's hash browns with over easy eggs. The service was attentive without being over bearing. We waited about half an hour for our food.

The upsides were the portions. The omelette was filled with bacon and was delicious. The eggs with the meat lover's hash browns were cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the ham pieces in the hash browns were burnt and the potatoes of the hash browns weren't browned. One thin layer of potato was actually cooked and the rest was just, pale steamed potatoes.

Maybe they were in rush in the back and they just didn't flip the hash browns, hers or mine, but either way...the meal was a disappointment. For the price of a large meal, we mostly got undercooked shredded potatoes covered up with cheese and hollandaise sauce.
