This hotel is in a great location, close to downtown and beautiful South Hill parks. I was worried about noise from traffic and helicopters (air ambulances), but the walls and windows kept the noise to a minimum. Our room was on the road and hospital (north) side. I’m a light sleeper and actually slept well enough. However, the main road isn’t super busy either. The heating/cooling unit was quieter than other places. My daughter and I felt safe the entire stay. The rooms are clean, the staff was friendly and chatted it up a bit with us. The breakfast was quite a spread and typical for hotels. It was a decent way to start our day. I would stay here again. The clientele seemed like us: everyday folks looking for a safe, comfortable stay at a place without all the bell and whistles for a decent price in a great spot.

The room was in excellent condition and the heater was easy to work. The breakfast was really good too. The seating area was clean and roomy. The location is perfect for me because I use it when I have medical appointments at Providence, across the street.

Clean room and bathroom. Staff are friendly and efficient—they called me to tell me I had left a belonging in the room when we checked out so I was able to go back and get it. Excellent location if you are having medical appointments at Sacred Heart/Providence.

Bath room has many cracks in the sink, a ding on the wall on the right side of the bath room countertop.
The front desk girls were great. The breakfast great& the room very clean.
It was a great stay.

Very nice place to stay when we visit our grandchildren. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast has standard breakfast items such as eggs, sausage, breads, cereals, etc. Overall a good value for the price.

From the time we checked in through the time we left, everything was exemplary! The 2 women who were at the front desk when we checked in were professional, kind and helpful. The room was spotless. Appliances, air, shower, etc all worked perfectly too. We so appreciate the medical discount as one of our family members was having surgery at Sacred Heart - not even a block away. Thank you so much! HIGHLY recommend!

The staff did everything in their power to help us with literally EVERYTHING. I left my purse was left behind after our checkout. When I returned, it was safe and sound. Everyone we dealt with smiled and went out of their way to be supportive. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband was a patient at Providence Sacred Heart for 8 days and we don't live in the area. Being able to stay at the Madison Inn and walk to the hospital was a Godsend to me since I am unfamiliar with Spokane and also hate city driving. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. While I was there they were beginning to remodel the breakfast area so it was a bit noisy and breakfast was served in the hallway. The staff made the very best of a not so convenient situation and it was appreciated by me. The rooms do need some updating but the beds were comfortable and the room had everything I needed.
