this is my very favorite spot to get a perfectly made coffee and a cookie before my morning walk to the park. love the staff. love the coffee. the cookies are always delicious....cool art is on shelves in the back room and dont forget to try the seasonal drinks as well. had a cherry mocha yesterday and it was like heaven. always love sitting outside with my partner and look at the people and dogs and crows in the area. ....really is becoming one of my happy places . ..plus the the baristas are all so cool and actually remember the things i like ....♡

I love Mabel for its bulletproof coffee (wish more cafes offered this), smoothies and generous hang-out area. I also appreciate how they don't play music, allowing you to listen to your own or just enjoy the quiet, organic sounds of a cafe at work. I like the vibe of the place; it is honest, unpretentious, and cool in its own right. This is my go-to spot for a weekend treat when I want to do more than just make a serviceable coffee at home.

Waited 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged. There was only one barista working at first, but it’s common practice and the polite thing to do to at least acknowledge that someone walked into your shop and tell them that you will be with them soon. I was so shocked. And at a place that charges $7 for a latte. It also smelled like oily scalp in the front area where I was waiting, made me nauseous. Would not recommend this place.

Cute cafe with friendly staff. The drinks are OK and prices are in line with other cafes in the area. We ordered a Chai Latte and Caramel Mocha. The Chai Latte had the spice, but lacked depth of flavor. The Caramel Mocha was OK - sweet but nothing special. They ask you how much tip you'd like to leave, then input it for you, which is awkward and unncessary. This isn't the closest cafe to my house, so I probably won't return.

Enjoyed a super tasty oat milk latte featuring Fundamental Coffee’s Humbucker Blend. Love the neighborhood vibes and the road trip/ travel-themed decor!

A nice coffee option outside the Ballard business core if you don’t want to deal with driving in circles looking for parking. 😂Plenty of free street parking and #40 bus stops right in front.

The little burritos get stuck to the paper so it’s hard to eat when taking To-Go🙀; Space is SO cute🩵🥰 but hit or miss on good Barista - very moody ☕️🧒🏼❌so it kinda kills the whole transaction, esp on a Sunny🌞Seattle Summer Saturday morning 🌄

Mabel is a coffee shop that from the front appears to be really small. But the look are deceiving indeed. When you walk to the front door you’re greeted by the barista. They have tea, lattes, pastries and to go items for lunch of breakfast. Like your regular coffee shop they also sell “day old” pastries. I grabbed a slice of pecan bread and it was delicious for $1.75. I also grabbed a hot oat milk latte with lavender syrup (my go to). After ordering from the bar there’s an entrance to a back room. That back room contains board games, puzzles, books, and many many chairs and tables. They have really good WiFi and the ambience here was just delightful. As I sat here drinking and eating I felt relaxed and at ease. The music they play in the background comes from their record player which you’re not allowed to touch but they have a large selection to see. Overall I’ll come back to this place to work on a project that requires my focus, or to finish reading my favorite book. I may even bring a board game and just relax with friends.
