So good we came back twice in one weekend!! Everything was absolutely delicious and the place is charming. We had the breakfast focaccia (a daily special) that will likely convince us to come back AGAIN some time this week. The baked eggs was also delicious as was the pear, walnut salad I had with lunch. 10 out of 10.

My daughter and I stopped by this bakery for a quick breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised. The blueberry lemonade is made fresh in-house and was so good...just the right amount of sweetness. Also had the blueberry danish which was delicious warmed up. I would definitely recommend this place.

I’ve been coming here for years because they have one of the very best ham and cheese croissants in Marin county and also an excellent mocha that is not too sweet. But today I tried the California Benedict for the first time and was amazed. Not only does it taste great but the presentation is gorgeous And for $16.50 it’s a pretty good deal.

Stop by on a business trip and heard this place was good well I order turkey with bacon avocados club.
Bacon was too hard, bread end crust was just hard to chew and turkey was too dried plus favoring very blend.
The fruit smoothie was good
Over all for $30.00 I won’t be coming back. To me it’s just over price and yet you can get much better sandwich elsewhere. I guess it’s because in the suburban area, this makes the spot. I’ll pass next time

I recently had the pleasure of visiting M.H Bread and Butter in San Anselmo, California, and it was an absolute delight! The artisanal breads are to die for, exuding freshness and authentic flavor profiles. Their butter, smooth and rich, perfectly complements the baked goods. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond to ensure an impeccable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone in or passing through the area. Truly a hidden gem!

This place is magnificent! Sincerely the best bread, croissants, and pastries I have so far in my life. The butter croissant is so flaky, light, and Layered with butter and the soft pliable perfectly baked center is magical. Low carb, ketogenic diets be damned. If you are even remotely close it is worth the visit. Having only tried 6 items off the menu (all were ) unbelievable in flavor and presentation. Must have!

Stopped here on the way to Point Reyes. Wow. So delicious. I am gluten free so was concerned that the meals containing bread would be the star. Thankfully the breakfast salad was as so outstanding I didn’t miss eating bread.

My husband enjoyed a tasty breakfast sandwich. Oh my. So good.

The outside seating was plentiful and sunny with shade under umbrellas.

Can’t wait to return here again.

Great bread and pastries, all the egg dishes are worth trying for sure.
Love the outside seating area and the kind service. Very busy spot, great to also grab a loaf of bread to go.
