We rented the pool for our daughter’s party. We specifically asked if we’d have exclusive use for the three hours and were told yes. When we arrived to the hotel the “party room” was tiny and crowded with too many tables and chairs. Literally no room to walk. The pool was full of guests who were rude to our teens, videoing them and laughing at them. The clerk tried to help, but was unable to do anything because of management restricting her. The manager told her that the guests were allowed in the party. That we didn’t have exclusive use even though I was told that when booking. Why would someone book a party knowing strangers would crash the area? None of the paperwork to book stated guests would be allowed use during party times.
We requested a refund or partial refund and was denied. Even-though we only used the party room half an hour and the pool one hour after the guests finally left. When I called the manager I was told we still had a party so we weren’t able to get a refund. She refused to give me contact info for the owners as well. She instead accused our teens of being rude to her guests saying they were repeat guests that only come for the pool. As I tried to explain our limited use and how nasty her guests were, she continually cut me off refusing any help or information.

The first night started off rough due to other loud occupants that is totally out of the motel staffs control. But after complaining to the front desk, a call was made and the noise stopped temporarily, until more occupants checked in and was even louder than the first occupants. I used this motel for my travel nurse accommodations coming in from Ohio and the staff went above and beyond to make it comfortable for me and my family. My room was switched with no hesitation and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for making this stay worth it and reducing my travel anxiety… Next travel contract I will ONLY use this motel. Pricing was very affordable and competitive. You miss out on the free breakfast but I’m not a breakfast person. There’s a market/mini store in the lobby that sells snacks and other items. Very convenient, especially during the winter storm! I’m not sure why some of the negative reviews but my experience was a 10/10…

The stay was adequate. But I WOULD NOT recommend staying here after the few days I have had after our stay.
On the morning we checked out, we smelled cigarette and weed smoke, which we were not pleased with, but assumed that people were smoking outside of our room--we were located in a corner with a trash can. The next morning, there was a surprise 150 dollar charge on my credit card. No call, no email, nothing. Upon calling the hotel, I was told to call back the next day. The next day, the manager was adamant about having us pay a fee for smoking weed in the room, even after I explained numerous times that we had not smoked weed, or anything, for that matter. To be accused of this repeatedly was absolutely insulting.
My partner and I don't smoke. We are drug tested for our careers. There was absolutely no evidence of smoking in our room, except for a smell that had come in from either outside or from a neighboring room.
It is completely ridiculous that we are being penalized for something another guest has done. I would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel. Pay the extra money elsewhere, save yourself the trouble.

First impressions with this hotel were great with the appearance of recent remodeling, but once you are in the rooms themselves is when the problems become apparent. Here is a breakdown of our very poor stay at Luxor Inn by Wyndham: We stayed our first night in Room 143 and when I woke up and turned the light on my end table on a roach crawled across the table and I killed it. Then, my wife opened the microwave to heat something up and one roach crawled from under the microwave and one roach crawled out of the microwave. I did manage to kill both of those as well. At this point we packed our belongings and I went to the front desk and spoke to a young man named Devin. I informed him of the issue and he stated that he was sorry and that they had a problem with roaches and had a couple of questionable guest stay but they thought the issue was resolved with their pest control service they use regularly. "OBVIOUSLY NOT!" Devin moved us to a new room, room #146, which I personally checked and sprayed with roach spray that I bought from Walmart. We stayed our second night in room #146 and all was fine until the next morning when we noticed that after taking showers and using the toilet the bathroom floor was squishy and had water seeping through the cracks. Again, we packed our belongings and I went to the front desk and spoke to Devin. I informed him of the issue and he apologized and offered to move us to room #148. I told Devin that I would give them one last chance since I booked the hotel for 2 weeks, but that I wanted to speak to the Manager and that I would like some compensation due to all the problems. He stated he would speak to the Manager Denise and would have her call me. We moved to room #148, where I sprayed the room for roaches myself just to be safe. Again, we stayed our third night in our third room and woke up to take a shower, but the shower would not drain because it was clogged with hair and dirt. I informed the young lady at the front desk that the shower was clogged and she said she would get the maintenance man to come look at it. After a second phone call and 45 minutes later the maintenance man arrived to find that the shower was clogged up with hair and dirt. He removed the clog and from that point on there weren't any other major issues. The only other issues with the rooms were there was holes in the wall behind the bathroom door and the cleanliness of the rooms was poor. We cleaned the rooms ourselves. Now, the manager, Denise, finally called me and said she would give me a $50 discount and $10 off of two weekend nights for a total of a $70 discount. That is basically one night free out of a 2 week stay. Then, the charging my card issues began. After my third night, I had already paid for half my stay. Then every night after midnight they would attempt to charge my card various amounts. After talking to Devin and the other young lady that worked the front desk, they stated they would get with the manager to resolve the issue. Three days of this issue and double charging my card I finally had enough and went to the front desk and informed Devin that my patience had run out and I wanted it resolved. At this point a gentleman sitting in the Lobby asked what the problem was. As it turns out, he was one of the owners. I told him about all the problems with my stay. And guess who came running out of the office when I started talking to the owner, that's right, Denise the manger came out. She tried to down play everything and act like they didn't find any roaches in the room and the drain was just clogged with some dust. I informed Denise that I did not appreciate her insinuating that I was lying and that I had pictures of the hair clog and dirt the maintenance man put in the garbage if she would like to see them. She was not very helpful or apologetic for any of the issues. In my opinion, Denise should not be a Manager of any business, but especially of a hotel. Devin was more helpful than the manager, but he could only tell the manager about the issues. The manager should have resolved the issues and been speaking to me directly from the beginning, but she avoided me and hid in her office when she was even at work. So, to be very clear, No I would not ever recommend the Luxor Inn to anyone.

Checked in this morning and Devin gave me a room immediately. Most places will tell you check-in isn’t until three…I’ve been on the road for a couple days and needed a room and a shower and Devon could not have been nicer!
When I got to my room, I could not have been happier and more surprised how nice this place is!
I’ve stayed in places that have charged 3x as much and they were not as nice. It is clean, updated and has a nice vibe to it. Thank you for this gem!

Luxor Inn is such a great place to stay. The rooms are great. The staff is wonderful. Kroger is quater mile away. Luxor inn location basically sets you on your way into the mountains. I'm coming back for sure in the summer for hiking

This place was a pleasant surprise. You could tell it was an older building. Inside everything looked newly restored. The lighting in the room was the best of any hotel I ever stayed in. Super clean, indoor heated pool. Staff was pleasant, helpful, and friendly. The price was less expensive and I know they would have never measured up to this place. I will stay again.

This is truly a gem! Don’t judge a book by its cover!the rooms are modern and have so many little conveniences! Like the door stays open for you to roll your luggage in and out, the drawers close automatically, the rain shower head, the light bar behind the bed, the beautiful shade with a mountain scene on it-I could go on and on! Devin (front desk) is a perfect host! We loved it here and hope to return some day!
