🚩🚩🚩 DO NOT STAY HERE! It is a disgusting. The management and staff were incompetent and could care less about our concerns. We had called multiple times to get somebody to call us back to book a room for a hockey tournament. When we got there to check in a young girl took our credit card and gave no receipt. The room was filthy, the carpet was not vacuumed, and the bed had crusty’s and hair on one of them. I called the front and somebody came and vacuumed, and I insisted on changing the sheets. The motel is old and unkept. The siding is falling off & junk is laying around outside. Entering the motel are cigarette butts, squished into the cement . I would describe it as an old disgusting hunting cabin .The next morning after breakfast, On the first floor, water starts pouring out of a laundry room & into the hallway. The bathroom next to the pool backed up & water from the toilet ran into the pool . We get back to our room and the toilet & bathtub are backing up & overflowing with fecal matter onto the floor. We told the front desk we are checking out and wanted to be credited for the second night. They verbally said that would be fine. I left a note with a few of the families names & room numbers that were checking out in the mailbox, since the doors were now locked to the lobby. The plumber came and defrosted the pipes. The boyfriend of the girl that checked us in the night before who does not work there… told my husband that everything would be taken care of, no worries. We got a phone call the next evening saying that we would not be reimbursed for the second night since the matter with the pipes was taken care of . It was never taken care of while we were there. We were not going to stay in a hotel with fecal matter that had poured into our room & into the pool. We are now in a dispute through our credit card company with the Lumberjack Inn. Ps. The Lumberjack Inn did put a $40 credit back onto our credit card , that’s it! Communication with them was sparse & vague! They do not care about their customers or what happened to our entire hockey team! Think long and hard before you book at this motel, I would strongly suggest you find someplace else!
