I highly recommend Luis Meat Market. Very clean place. Fresh fruits and vegetables. My husband and daughter love the breaded chicken and beef, the salsas prepared on site. I have been shopping with them since 2009-10. I live in Ladera Ranch now, but whenever visiting family in Lakewood, I make sure to shop at the Luis Meat Market!

I come every week for my salsa supply! They have the best fresh salsas! The cooked food in the take out area is fantastic. No heat lamps, freshly prepared. Beautiful produce.

My mom & I came here because we passed by on our way back from the mall. Everything looked clean, well stocked, just a very nice clean & organized store. The produce was beautiful! I really loved the produce… everything went south when I got home with the meat I bought. When I opened up the meat package, it smelled terrible!! I was really disappointed. I bought beef to make carne asada burritos & the meat smelled like “perro muerto” in English it translates to “dead dog”. You guys are gonna get someone sick! This is by no means a slander review. I’m just being honest. Whoever is in charge of receiving the meat on delivery days needs to be supervised to ensure the meat is being properly stored AT TEMPERATURE when it arrives to be put away! This a management type of issue & whoever is in charge, isn’t managing enough.

My first visit was impressive. The first thing I noticed was how very clean it is. The meat selection looked great. I will be back for that. The produce section was perfect. Again so very clean. I bought some produce and tamales today. All was good. I’ll be back and will become a regular customer I’m sure. Everyone was polite too.

Been coming here for years. Everything is good. Staff is always nice. It's clean too. Luis always has ripe avocado's for a good price. The market chips are good, just need a touch of salt. The carnitas is pretty solid for a quick dinner. The "restaurant" food has never let me down either.

Excellent quality meat for your barbecue. I really love the diversity on cuts and great customer service. This market is nice clean and love the overall atmosphere, try their homemade salsa...its smoky taste is unique. Definitely my favorite place to buy my groceries now.
