Such a cute place! The food was amazing! Expect all your breakfast favorites, from fluffy pancakes and crispy bacon to omelets and French toast, but with a modern twist! We all left fully satisfied! The staff were very attentive and friendly! So close to the Vasona Park trail, a great stop after a nice hike.

Food is a 5 start for sure. A proud neighhood eatery with a large selection of generous brunch offerings, Lou's seems to be south of the border firstly, but also features plenty of Americana, even Portuguese linguiça, French Cordon Bleu, etc. The homemade crabcake is made from fresh crabs and without a lot of filler, a rarity nowadays. Poached eggs in the Benedicts are perfect (med rare?). The country potatoes have a nice touch w green peppers.

If you bring a dog and are relegted to the outdoor sidewalk, the atmosphere is decidedly, well, pedestrian.

Lucky find! A little whole-in-the-wall you could easily miss, but once you step inside and taste their homey comfort food, you won’t forget it! Excellent breakfast and lunch options! Creative yet recognizable family favorites, large portions, and warm and welcoming staff! Great coffee and pastries too!

This has served as the backup breakfast choice when the los Gatos cafe, (across from and down the street a block or two) was too backed up.

Food is great - inventive with a complex two sided menu. The food has more flavor and choice than the LG cafe does - though both places are destination spots for breakfast.
It's small, cramped with minimal off a busy street parking. Has a few outside tables. Is busy when it should be busy- you might have to stand around outside and wait.
Staff very competent and friendly - they work together in a busy environment.

Recommend the garbage plate.
