It might not be visible at first but driving down the streets of Montrose does come with perks, and one of them being this jungle gem of a book store named Lost Books! As the name suggests, you indeed can get lost inside as this one story floor filled with a combination of greenery and paper bindings might have made you felt as though you were transported into a story unlike any other! They definitely do love their plants and are open to share them with all of the customers as well as passerbyers, whether they be on display in the front or even inside. Even walking within the store feels like a magical dream as the staff had laid out the walkway to feel like a spiral maze of sorts with appropriately placed genres to compliment.

For all of those book worms with an eye for fun designs, give this place minutes out of your time!

Very cool book store! Always a treat to come visit. Kid and dog friendly! Beautiful soothing salt water fish tank, and bird atrium. Amazing plants, cool records/vinyls, and books. Fun layout, and nice place to hang out. Plenty of seating areas, and cool book category sections. Some cool graphic novels/comics. Overall a fun place to be! Paid meter parking out front, also plenty of free (for 3 hour) public lots around the store. Highly recommend. Only thing to make note of is that all sales are final! So, if you’re purchasing a gift, make sure you’re set on the purchase, and do not desire a gift receipt or return option!

I used to work up the street at Moo Moo Mia, and would walk here when I was off of work just to browse. I INSTANTLY fell in love! I recently went back (hadn’t been to the area in a year) and I brought my fiance and my dog. First off, they’re pet friendly! Second, they have a GREAT record selection! Third, their plants are ADORABLE and it takes everything in me not to buy them all! And finally — the books! It’s a GREAT place to find a good read! As an author myself, if my book were in a place this cute, I’d consider that in itself a win. If you’re local, make this a destination! You’ll have a BLAST! It’s so cozy!

Have you been in a bookstore lately? Do you want to freshen up on a new breed of bookstore? Stop by. Don't plan for a "stop and go" because you WILL regret it.

Awesome is barely the word to describe this place. There is a toss up between the garden's beauty and the bookshop.

Just walking around is a Fiesta. Great selecion of books. Seating place to read comfortably. Great lighting and of course the fresh decoration and designer touches will make you loose your mind.

Hours go by and you keep finding new interests. Peeking that unique books, collection of LPs, and other items will make you spend more time.

We ended our visit with Flynn and Quinci telling us about the place and that soon they will be serving cold and hot drinks.

All walk of like will enjoy this new trend. Kids would have a blast.

Books. Plants. Vinyl. Absolutely heaven for me!! What a beautiful space. Energy here was sooooooo positive. Music plays in the background. Several nooks and crannies to sit for a few, read and take in the ambience of the space. Selections were reasonable and the prices were as well. The birds space was a great touch. I was so busy buying up books I forgot to take a picture. Would recommend this space and I'll definitely keep coming back.

Loved the atmosphere of the bookstore. Felt a soothing and relaxing mood from the plants, but at same time felt an adventurous sensation as I walk through the maze of book shelves. All the books were unique and each book felt as if they had history. Amazing place to find new books even for those who don't enjoy reading. Definitely recommend this place for everyone!
