Today ordered the chicken enchilada plate and it was good! They make chips to order so they are fresh. I have had tamales 🫔 before but wanted something different. The food is made fresh and it’s delicious. Will come back here again

I've been coming here for years. And came with my parents when they were alive. Today was 1st time ever had to return my order. But they were exchanged out and I went on my way. Just patiently waiting on April for the Asparagus tamales 😍

The cashier was acting weird but worst of all is the food, these are the skimpiest tamales I have ever seen, they are flimsy and don’t even hold up and not to mention all the water downed salsa… has no flavor, nothing has flavor. Horrible experience and super expensive, paid $45 for a couple skimpy tamales and salsa with beans to have no flavor whatsoever. DO NOT RECOMMEND whatsoever. Eat here is you love wasting your money.

Amazing tamales! It doesn't matter what flavor you get...they are all delicious. The asparagus tamales are award winning and they deserve it. It's a small place that packs a big punch. Make sure to get their beans and rice because they, too, are delicious with the tamales. Stop by and have a meal....it's totally worth it!!!

They have okay flavor but the masa isn’t even cooked all the way it’s still raw and they are the tiniest tamales you’ll ever see but they charge the highest in Yakima for raw tiny tamales I gave them another chance but won’t be back again.

Tamales are a funny thing.....there are a lot of mediocre tamales out there, but good tamales are hard to find. Great tamales are even less common.....unless you live in Yakima! Los Hernandez tamales have long been a staple in the area, but now they're even more accessible for those of us living on the West End of town. These are some of the best tamales in the world. If you don't believe me, just check out the James Beard award that they won for their tamales! Their lunch specials run around $7 for a couple tamales with rice and beans. If you've never tried it, stop then and give it a go!
