Los Domingos Restaurant - A True Gem in Barstow!

Los Domingos in Barstow is an absolute delight and a must visit for anyone passing through or staying in the area. From the moment you step inside, the warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel at home.

The food is nothing short of spectacular. Their menu offers a wide range of authentic Mexican dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The carne asada is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the chile rellenos are some of the best I’ve ever had crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. If you’re a fan of seafood, their shrimp fajitas are a standout, packed with bold spices and served sizzling hot.

The margaritas are a highlight as well. Whether you prefer them classic or with a fruity twist, they’re expertly crafted and pair wonderfully with the meal.

OMG I'm actually writing this review from the restaurant because it's so amazing! I ordered the tour of Mexico and I'll be eating it for at least the next two nights. It's a massive amount of food and everything was incredibly good! The service from David was friendly and attentive. He took incredible care of me from start to finish. I will definitely eat here every time I'm in Barstow. Excellent place!

Had an amazing time and the food was better than expected. Every time I stop in Barstow on the way to Vegas or Laughlin, I'm stopping by. No more McDonald's or The OG Del Taco, It's Los Domingos time.

I stayed at the hotel and went to the restaurant. To start off the service was very good. Everyone was nice and attentive. I ordered the Mexican jambalaya and let me tell you it was bomb. It was pricey but worth it. I got the spicy beans on the side and they were stupid delicious 🤤. I definitely recommend this place to any Mexican food lover. The menu had lots of different options.

We were driving from Vegas to Los Angeles and stopped in Barstow for a meal. Originally we wanted to do In n Out, but after researching Reddit threads and googling “best food in Barstow” we luckily came across this hidden gem. Located in the lobby of a Quality Inn (a nice one actually, with Spanish-style architecture), Los Domingos is a surprising must-stop if you’re looking for comfortable seating (they have these spacious plush booths), extremely friendly and quick service (our waitress, Alisha, was memorable) and delicious Mexican food. Having been to some of the best Mexican spots in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Tijuana, we were not expecting food to be anything to write home about. Boy we were wrong. My boyfriend had a massive burrito that I was a little jealous I didn’t get, it looked so yummy. My quesadilla was excellent as well- smaller as it was an appetizer instead of an entree, yet still filling. Next time we make the drive to Vegas, we will stop here for sure.

First time in... small place in the lobby of the Quality Inn motel, but don't let that scare you. The place was packed full of locals at 530pm. Blackberry & Prickly Pear margarita great tasting. Carne Asada plate and Tour of Mexico, Chicken Tortilla Soup... AMAZING. Had breakfast the next morning... just a delicious. It's definitely a hidden gem...

The cheese would have been great if it was better quality. The enchilada sauce is a bit salty. The black beans were good. The server was nice and attentive. The atmosphere is not bad for being within a hotel/motel chain tbh. The Mexican food is def not authentic Mexican. We were told the rice and refried beans are NOT vegetarian that was a huge downfall for us at least.

Perfect place for a sizable and tasty portion of comfort food! The entrance of the restaurant is somewhat hidden within the hotel. The service is very attentive and fast. The food type is Mexican but they serve various other options such as steak and salads. Within the restaurant is a bar in which you can drink and watch sports (Icehocky was on in January). Highly recommended for a tasty bite!
