This place was the coolest. The building itself is a destination. We spent over an hour just exploring the historic floors and amenities. The room was comfy, the food was good, and Melissa spent extra time explaining the place to us so we'd get the most out of the visit. We will definitely stay there again!

This is the 3rd time staying here, coming here to visit the family. Each time is as wonderful as the others. It starts with a warm welcome at check in, this time from Mellyssa, who was extremely accommodating. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean. Even though this is a very old downtown LA building, it is modern and updated. The best part is complete use of the exercise facilities spanning 3 floors with gym equipment, swimming pool, basketball and handball courts as well as a complete locker room with jaccuzi , sauna and steam room. Nice restaurants and bars on site. Could it get any better?

It's a very old building. It has been modernized inside. The ladies' locker room has one cold plunge while the men have 3. They ladies was out of order when I went. I found a billiards on the second floor and they have work spaces at the top. Locker rooms are clothes optional.. That's OK. However, a lady was using the jets of the jacuzzi inappropriately while I was in there, which was not cool. Hot sauna and cold sauna were lovely. It's a step-up from a LA Fitness .. I don't think its worth the price tag.

Incredible hotel, filled with hidden gems. Everything you need in 1 place if you enjoy a fit and healthy lifestyle.
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff from the front desk to the restaurant. 10/10 experience. Any couple or family who enjoy health and fitness should stay here. However, beware. If you’re in LA to sight see.. you may not make it outside this amazing establishment.

Very nice hotel with tons of sport facilities. Sauna, hot tub, cold tub, spa, pool, squash, basketball court and many more things to do without going out of the hotel.
Lobby and hallways look nice and new, but rooms kinda saw a better days and a bathroom is small.
For some reason management made some complications with entering the hotel. They made bigger doors which are next to the reception for exit only. To get inside the hotel you have to go around the corner and take smaller doors and go through the hallway. Why?! It feels like management had a meeting how to make your life a bit less convenient than it should be

Beautiful old facility with incredible indoor Olympic pool and a great gym. In terms of the service it's kind of hit or miss. They don't quite have it working like a regular hotel. It was hard to get the room cleaned, yeah picked up etc. Overall we're really happy to have stayed here however. Just know it is quirky.

The central location is great--two blocks from metro. The gym and spa are the best in Los Angeles in my opinion. Having the lounge on the 3rd floor makes is easy for two guest to have separate spaces to read, work on the computer and generally relax. The front desk staff are helpful, friendly and professional.

Overall, I thought the facility was very clean. The service was excellent. The amenities were for the most part lovely. Sierra, the bar keep in Dukes, was fantastic. She was very good at her job and has excellent energy and Communication skills. I was disappointed that they did not have larger size robes in the hotel room or spa. For a facility of this caliber and price point, not to have robes to fit all size guests, is unheard of and offensive. Also, the handicap shower stall in the ladies room did not have a privacy curtain. I think this is an epic fail on the part of management, and shows lack of concern for those with special needs. Overall I like the facility but they have some work to do to make it exceptional.
