If you like a cabin-feel, but with all the modern conveniences, you will love LOGE Alta Crystal! We usually do ski-in-ski-out, so were were a little skeptical when we found out this was 8 miles from the mountain. Well, it was amazing! The shuttle was convenient and so comfortable. The drivers were the highlight of our stay... local, knowledgable, and so funny! Once we returned from the mountain each day it was great to return to the cafe for a snack or coffee, then hit the hot tub or heated pool. Overall, we loved this place. Thanks for making out family trip so special.

We most enjoyed our stay while skiing at Crystal. Everything is just rustic enough that you’re not on edge that your kids will damage something yet the intention and attention to detail is perfectly infused throughout. The kids loved the s’mores, hot chocolate, and dvds (yes, dvds) while we loved the boot dryers, sauna, and elk grazing at our door. Every interaction with the staff was wonderful. The shuttle to Crystal is lovely.

Lovely and quiet location. Used the pool but hot tub was broken. Good kitchen and rooms. Limited front desk and snacks. Good location for exploring the area. We explored Mt Rainer and local towns north and south. Lots of hiking close by. Restaurants limited.

Very convenient for skiing. We really enjoyed the fireplace (plenty of firewood free of charge) and the hot tub in the evening. It was a memorable mini vacation and good quality family time. Our room felt very private, we wouldn’t have been aware of any other guests if our room hadn’t overlooked the hot tub.

Staff were super nice. We were grateful to find a place big enough for 5 of us to hang out, cook and relax. Loved the wood burning fireplace.||||BUT For the cost, especially the $25 dollar resort fee you pay when checking in, and owe additionally for every day, when checking in, we were frustrated with these inconveniences: ||||Soft lumpy old mattress, poor quality of sleep.||||Not fun, actually difficult to cook because of inadequate supply of very old deteriorated pots, pans, missing the must-have basics to prepare simple food like a pot large enough to cook pasta or soup for 6. ||||Even though we rented a loft room for 6 people, we didn't have 6 plates or bowls, ...just 2 wine glasses. ||||Mouse got into the bottom shelf of the hanging cubbards destroying our trail mix and bread.||||Felt clean enough, but found like, full used coffee filter in old coffee maker.||A lot of fire debris outside of fire box.||||We had fun together (always) and enjoyed being close to the ski hill. and the hot tub, ||||For the price I hope they upgrade mattresses and better supply the kitchen with decent cook ware, a decent coffee maker and utensils.

This was not the case.||basic and comfortable, but non-loft units in need of upgrades. ||fireplace worked well with effort||kitchen was small, dingy and worn.||bed was comfortable, heat worked well. Bathroom was fine. Lots of hot water.||hot tub was 101 by the time we got there. couldn't get sauna going at all. pool was reported to be nice, but i was too cold to try.||very little supplies in store/lodge. Bend LOdge much more special and congenial.||Charge for early checkin and coffee pot breakage (due to tiny kitchen) seemed a bit mean.||Reasonable driving distance to mountain, Ranier was spectacular.

Amazing first visit to LOGE Alta Crystal! Staff was super accommodating and the onsite amenities were awesome. Take a dip in the appropriately heated swimming pool big enough for the whole family or walk on over to the Spa set at the perfect temp. The sauna was also a big hit with our group! Only 15 minutes to a snowboarders dream mountain. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location for skiing Crystal. We stayed in a queen room and it was just ok for the price. Cabinets were beat up, poorly stocked kitchenette, tiny fridge that froze our food. Pool and sauna were appreciated. The cafe is not a restaurant. It is a little shop that sells ramen and a few other items for quick cooking.
