Stayed here for our 20th anniversary—overall, I’d rate it a 7/10. The hotel itself is nice, but there were several issues that made the experience frustrating.

I booked the local package, but at check-in, it wasn’t applied. I had to request the resort fees be removed, and I never received the $150 dining credit that was supposed to be included. On top of that, in-room dining forgot part of our order, and I had to call back to have it delivered.

We also played golf at the resort, paying over $200 for the round, but our cart died mid-game. It completely threw off my focus, and at one point, another golfer had to push us up a hill with his cart. For that price, I expected much better. I absolutely deserve a credit for that round—it wasn’t the experience I paid for.

That said, the hotel staff was fantastic—five stars all the way. From the front desk to housekeeping to the interim dining team, everyone was friendly, professional, and attentive. Their service was a highlight of the stay.

Nice resort, great staff, but the lack of attention to detail on the package, dining, and golf experience made it feel like I overpaid for what should have been a seamless, stress-free getaway.

Love the location and the new updates to the decor !! Majority of the staff is excellent!! Friendly atmosphere and relaxed environment. Fitness center is excellent, and I learned you can play tennis or pickle ball included in your resort fee. Golf course is fun and well groomed. Proximity to Sabino Canyon is a huge plus if you enjoy hiking!! We walked the Canyon twice and played golf one day.|The Flying V has a new chef and his food was delicious!!|Bottom line: my wife and I have enjoyed the Loews for decades!! It is a wonderful place to restore your heart and soul in the beautiful desert foothills!!

Absolutely beautiful! First time staying here and at a Loews. Came across the brand when in Miami Beach and thought the hotel looked great so I was excited to see Tucson had one. What a beautiful property, the friendliest staff, and now is one of my favorite resorts in the country. The room is gorgeous, the gym is fully stocked and well equiped, the pools are great and heated. ||The trails on the grounds are awesome. We will definitely return again and so glad we tried something new!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, only wish it could have been longer. We will return!
We found all of the staff ~ from the front desk staff to the wait staff at the Flying V Bar & Grill to be that rare combination of knowledgeable and friendly!
Our room was well appointed and impeccably clean. We had a beautiful mountain and pool view from our balcony that we enjoyed very much. Our dinner at the Flying V was delicious! All together our experience was one worthy of repeating!!

Beautiful dog friendly resort. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed many walks along the pathways around the resort. |We had drinks at the bar and sat by a nice fire pit. The two queen bed room was a really good size and the patio overlooked the desert landscape. We asked for a quiet room and got one. |Improvements would have been at check in telling us about events such as the holiday tea and blues brunch we later found out were going on. One of the staff at the coffee shop was very unfriendly one morning but seemed happier the second day. The line gets very long for breakfast at the restaurant and coffee shop so go early or late. |The hostesses at Flying V’s were also rude to the point my kids even commented on it. Our waitress was excellent though! |The resort is a bit removed from the city so keep that in mind. It’s nice to just stay at the resort and not spend time driving into town.

A fantastic resort!
Location is meticulously maintained, with a very friendly staff that understands what service really is.

The grounds offer several restaurants and activities so you never really have to leave.

Natural desert landscape, waterfalls and lakes provide a serene environment when outside.

For the more active, there is golf, pickle ball and plenty of hiking options right outside.

I would rate Loews as one of the best resorts in Arizona

Beautiful hotel, staff has been incredible throughout our stay. Jacob the Bellman was the highlight of our trip. Walked all our bags to our room (very large property so this is no small feat), gave us a tour of the room and was incredibly kind.

One thing to note if you are a light sleeper, walla are quite thin. Between the hallway and the rooms that would be my only constructive feedback. Clearly had a family staying nextdoor and could hear all the chaos until late in the evening. Other than that, Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Had an issue with the room and the hot tub. Was promised a call from the manager approximately 300 miles and over 9 hours ago. Still haven’t received a call and don’t really expect one. It’s a shame a place so beautiful can’t resolve issues of a customer they would’ve had for life… I won’t stay there again and won’t recommend it to any of my associates.

Update — I was contacted by Adam, who took the time to hear the issue and apologized for the ordeal and treatment previously received. Because of his professionalism and excellent customer service, I am changing my rating. I will consider trying to visit the location again.
