Quickly becoming one of my favorite places for dining in Brentwood. Great service, excellent menu selections. The food is very good. The wait staff is always kind and inviting. The seafood is fresh. The menu changes often. There is always something new to try. Excellent restaurant downtown.

We visited on a Sunday around 5pm. We were a party of 7 and had called in to make a reservation prior. We were quickly accommodated and sat on the patio area. The place is super cute but it was warm outside. They only have one fan, or at least I only saw one so we were a little hot but it wasn't uncomfortable. The service was great! Gio was our server and he was very attentive and friendly. The food was yummy! We ordered a variety of menu items but my favorite dishes were Chicken Marsala and the Lamb! 👌🏼 There's plenty of parking on the street and around the corner.

Upscale Italian cuisine, cool Capri island inspired decor with a large cafe style seating area on the side, a large indoor dining area, and a large covered, open air veranda patio. The atmosphere is fancy.

The food was flavorful. This is not a pizza and spaghetti place. They have slow food, meaning the chef has been diligent, creating well thought out menus many days in advance, resulting in tender meat, flavorful deep and rich sauces.

The service was super attentive, the water was replenished without our party ever having to look for waitstaff. Prompt food delivery to our table. We were so happy eating here, we even got desserts after our brunch when we usually never do.

Nice place. Was better when it opened. I assume the family was watching over it more directly. It now seems to cater to people who think they are getting Italian food. Ordered prime rib, so by itself, seems to be more American Italian fusion.

But then since they didn't cook more of it, was only Medium. Who cooks prime rib medium?

But it's not really upscale. Just seems that way. If this sounds negative, perhaps they need to step up their offering. The cook should either handle substitutions or not. The waiters should know what the diners are ordering and not guess.

It's either made with garlic potatoes or I asked for mixed vegetables. The reason I got back, was the chef thought there were too many changes. What the heck? If I was at a 3+* Michelin and the menu was on a card Infront of me that's one thing.

But if you give me a menu and I can order, then expect changes. If you believe you are above petty Americans ordering food, guess what dude, your food isn't that good. It's just normal good.

First time for dinner. Ordered the ravioli with lobster and asparagus. The sauce was rich and a bit sweet: packed flavor. I think the temperature could have been hotter. I also had the brussel sprouts and it was nothing very special, it too packed flavor.The service was great, quick and the restaurant was not very busy midweek. I'm glad I was able to try a meal but for the cost and okay entree, I don't think I will return.

We have dined at Locanda several times this past year. It is a lovely restaurant with impeccable service and atmosphere. The first few times the food was excellent and that’s the reason we came back. The last two times were not so good. Twice before I ordered the Gnocchi.with truffle sauce , exceptionally good. The last time I ordered this dish the waiter said they no longer paired the Gnocchi with truffle sauce but now it was with a pesto cream sauce. Unfortunately, the pesto sauce looked like flour and water with a little seasoning. No flavor at all.The last time I ordered a lamb chop special with a sauce that ruined the whole dish. One of our party ordered the Chicken Marsala. He said the chicken was very dry. Another one of our party ordered a pasta dish which he had ordered in the past but found it was difference this time and under par. My husband on the other hand had ordered a Risotto dish which he thoroughly enjoyed. I really hate to have to complain but think management should be aware of these comments.

Ambience: Went for dinner on a Sunday. Place was busy but service was spectacular! (Thanks to Ali for being great to us that night!) Indoor and outdoor seating available. Decor is adorable & chic.
Food: tasted fresh and authentic. Portions are small but enough for an individual. Drinks were on point!
Parking: available on the street or nearby lots

The atmosphere and service are great. But the food is mediocre. This is the 4th time I have been there always with a pretty large group who wanted to go there. I have had different dishes each time. While it's a nice place, the food just doesn't measure up to the hype. The last thing I had was the sea bass. Frankly it was the worst fish dish I have ever had. Sea bass is a succulent thick cut, delicately flavored fish - I have it often in other restaurants and make it myself. This sea bass was unlike any I had ever had - I'm not sure it was sea bass. It was skillet fried into thin skin-on fish strips, like something from a cheap diner. It is smothered with a tomato red sauce - red sauce on sea bass!!! It was served over cubed potatoes that are overly seasoned. It's a terrible dish from the presentation to taste. I could not eat it.

If I go to this restaurant again it will be because someone in our group wants to go, and I'll stick to a salad.
