This is the second time I've stayed at Little Thumb Butte while taking classes at Gunsite Academy. Between the Miss Ann's warm welcome and wisdom, the graciousness of her interns, the beautiful setting, the comfortable rooms, and the outstanding meals, LTB is as much of a draw as is the training at Gunsite. The guests are always fascinating and the conversation outstanding. Most of all, Ann's genuine hospitality makes of each stay a memorable experience. I treasure the times I've come and look forward to many more as the opportunity permits.

I was truly fortunate to have stumbled upon LTB when looking for a place for my GS class. Ann runs a phenomenal B&B, and driving onto her beautiful property every evening after a long day of class has been a blessing. Between the first-rate food, comfortable rooms, and gorgeous views, this is true hidden gem. I just wish I did not have to get back to work so soon!

I don't know where to start other than Miss Ann is an outstanding host with customer service as her priority. Her associated interns are nothing shy of her customer service quality and the food they prepare puts 5 star restaurant to the test. The home is just that, your home and the amenities are superb. ||The location for doing the outdoors is spot on with the river near by, hunting, fishing and of course Gunsite Courses being only 15 minutes away. If LTB isn't available then I'm not taking a class that week.

My wife and I have stayed with Ann at the Little Thumb Butte B & B twice now, and enjoyed every moment. Ann treats you like you are family, over for a visit. The B & B is very comfortable, and the food is outstanding. (It is also served in abundance, and you get a "Look" from Ann if you don't eat enough. After all, how can you enjoy your day without sufficient fuel?)||||When you wake up in the morning, you will be greeted by the smell of bacon and coffee, since Ann is Always up and getting things started before her guests arise. When you return from your day of hiking, exploring, or whatever you are doing in the national forests around Pauline, you will be greeted by the smell of the dinner you helped select. Ann works hard to please, and that includes making sure that everyone gets food that they like. She also accommodates dietary/allergy restrictions.||||Finally, if you are a "horsey" person, bring your four legged friend. Ann had a beautiful barn and riding rink. Her property overlooks wide open wilderness, with trails to explore.

I stayed at Little thumb butte B&B while taking a class at Gunsite in Paulden. Ann is one of the the most sweetest lady’s I’ve ever met. Her and her help do an amazing job cooking and cleaning keeping her property very clean. I stayed in the downstairs apt/maids corders attached to the horse barn(don’t worry there were no smells or odors). Breakfast was every morning at 6am and dinner was also provided every evening at 6pm. I loved getting to know her and learn about her very adventurous life she’s had.

We were looking for a couple of days of rest "away from it all" and this place far exceeded our expectations. The home and the accommodations are outstanding; Ann has really thought of everything and it is all exceptionally well maintained. The location is "out of the way" in that it is a bit off the main road and nearly surrounded by public lands; the view is quite wonderful. But it is also not far from Chino Valley or Prescott. For outdoor and wildlife fans, this would be an excellent spot for experienced hikers, since a trail from the house accesses both Granite Creek and the Verde River. The food here is not the "gourmet" fare some people expect at a bed and breakfast, but good home cooking, and she is definitely concerned about your dietary needs. This was an outstanding value and a great experience.

From the moment we walked in the place was absolutely amazing. The hosts were amazing. The staff was amazing and far exceeded our expectations. All of the lodging space is comfortable, the food is fantastic, and the view is beyond description. I would go back in a minute And look forward to going back in the future. If I could write them with 10 stars I would.

Ann runs a super bed and breakfast. She is top shelf, fantastic service, superb accommodations, outstanding help and she is the most active rancher I know! Extreme attention to detail, extremely well set up and wonderful views of the area. GO!
