The site is beautiful with a true tropical vibe. Staff were very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and fulfill our requests. We loved the free kayaks and would have liked to use the bikes if we had had more time. Our only downside was that the bed on the room was not firm at all, and the property often smelled of bug spray. We didn't see any bugs though, so there's that.

As for location: the nearby state park is beautiful and a great place to spend an afternoon. There's not a lot of shops or restaurants on the key, but that adds to the vibe in my opinion. Much cosier than Marathon or Key Largo.

The wife and I booked a little getaway for a week at the Florida Keys, we researched a lot of places and settled on this resort. Upon our arrival was very happy with the location and size of the room. We received a balcony room over looking the water and beach. Room was well stocked with fridge, coffee, microwave and beach towels. This resort also has many amenities on property too! There are yard games, yoga, kayaks, paddle boards, and a large swimming pool all on site for guests to use. Overall was very pleased with our stay and the restaurant on property was convenient for when we didn't feel like leaving the resort. Would certainly stay here again if we are back in the area.

Stayed here with my 5 year old daughter, mom, and aunt. We stayed in a double queen ocean view and it was beautiful! The room and property were all very clean and well kept. All staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was great. Plenty of chairs and hammocks on the property by the ocean to enjoy. We love the water so we took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards. Saw some fish by the dock. The restaurant in the parking lot was great! Thank you!!

Staying in the middle of the FL Keys reduces drive time to see the whole area! This location was perfect. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities. We stayed in a townhouse across the street. The paddleboards, bikes, and kayaks were so fun! Lots of palms, hammocks, lounge chairs, and sand to enjoy. The atmosphere is quiet, serene, friendly, and relaxing. The food and live music at the local restaurant/bar was great. And the sunsets are beautiful! Easy check-in, even got a call in advance for anticipated arrival time and if there were any questions or needs. I will be back!

This is a great place to stay in the Keys. We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit that was fabulous. Andrea was great in giving us a great unit and was very helpful with our stay. Our unit was clean with many amenities. It has a beautiful beach and pools. Most of all it’s a great location with great people who work there. Thank you Andrea for all your help.

I've been coming here for 20 yrs and it is a great family resort with lots to do. The rooms are right on the water and swimming kayaking, boarding, and snorkeling are a must. Did I mention they are free? There is a loggerhead turtle that has made her home here about 25 ft out, and is still here today. The whole staff is wonderful and friendly. A restaurant is only a few yards away. I can't say enough about this place, Love you limetree bay. And thank you for being a part of my life!!

We had a wonderful stay! Our room was nicely updated, clean, and spacious, and the resort team was very friendly and accommodating. The free kayak and paddleboard access is a cool perk. If you’re looking for a more quaint location away from the busier keys, this is the perfect spot. Can’t wait to go back.

Absolute wonderful stay! We stayed in the 2 bedroom and it was so quiet and private. The beds were very comfortable and the entire property was very clean and well taken care of. The location is beautiful, right on the water. Kayaks, bikes, paddle boards included are a great plus. Hammocks and lounge chairs along the beach were very relaxing. It was the peaceful stay we were looking for! Staff were all excellent and friendly. Great service. We will be back!
