We recently had a lovely stay at the Lily Valley Inn! Even though it was a cold, winter weekend, the inn was charming and welcoming and the snow covered New River valley was scenic and peaceful. Lily and Mike are wonderful hosts and took great care of us! We particularly enjoyed the wonderful breakfast that Lily prepared! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again in the summer or fall with friends to experience a different season in the New River Valley.

This is your go to place in Pearisburg VA. Just a beautiful property, great room and fantastic breakfast! Lilly and Mike are the nicest and most accommodating hosts. A must stay!

The Lilly Valley Inn is truly an amazing, must see/stay Inn! When we arrived we were immediately impressed with the amazing views of the New River, and surrounding hills, as well as, the beauty of the inn itself. We stayed for three nights, and I have to tell you that the reason I will be suggesting this inn to everyone is well beyond just the beauty of the setting! Most impressive is Lilly herself, the owner of the inn. Not only is she extremely nice, and helpful with all types of things to do in the area, but she is also a French trained chef. Every morning she prepared a three course breakfast for everyone staying at the inn. The breakfasts were the best I have ever had at any inn that I have visited across the country! Additionally, the inn itself has beautifully appointed, comfortable rooms, most with amazing views! The weekend we were there, there were multiple families in for parents weekend at Virginia Tech University, which is less than a half hour drive away. Apparently, all of these families discovered the Lily Valley Inn, and told us that it is now the only place they will stay when they come to visit! We recently stayed at the Lilly Valley Inn, our hosts Lilly and Michael could not be more welcoming and accommodating. What a wonderful visit we had last week. From warmly welcomed as family, to a wonderful room and delightful breakfasts, not to mention truly attentive hosts, we had an exceptional experience. Each day began with a delicious three course breakfast, great conversation around the tables among other guests, with Lilly and Mike asking what plans we had and how they could assist in perfecting our day. Lilly's cooking class will provide inspiration for many meals to come back home. We cannot thank them enough for our time with them.

What a wonderful getaway at the Lilly Valley Inn! Lilly and Michael were fantastic hosts and made sure our stay was memorable. We were lucky to experience Lilly's breakfast creation............wow! The Lily Valley Inn is as gorgeous inside as the stunning scenery outside. We stayed in the Sunrise and the view from our windows was spectacular. I set my alarm to not miss the sunrise over the New River...even though it was very misty, it was still gorgeous! Everything about the Lilly Valley Inn was both comfortable and luxurious. Lilly and Mike were wonderful hosts and made sure that we had everything we needed upon arrival. They had great recommendations for area hiking and exploring. What a treat to start the day with Lilly's amazing creations for breakfast. Everything she served was created with thoughtfulness and care and was out-of-this-world delicious. We had the best time while staying at Lilly Valley Inn - hiking and exploring the nearby towns and then coming 'home' in the evening to enjoy sitting on the deck and watching the nighttime beauty of the fireflies and stars. Our favorite hikes were on the AT to Angels Rest and beyond, and at Mill Creek Nature Park. Both trails were steep but doable and the views, waterfalls, and wild flowers were beyond compare. We will always remember our very special 40th anniversary celebration at the Inn.

Lilly Valley Inn was the most perfect remote escape for a couple’s weekend! Away from everything, the setting is gorgeous, the inn is beautifully remodeled, and the service was phenomenal. Lilly offered dining recommendations and reservations before we arrived. She also offered a picnic basket for our hike, charcuterie one evening, and a surprisingly refined wine list. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Three courses, coffee, and mimosas kept us fueled through our hike at Cascade Falls. As an avid hiker, she helped us plan our day in the outdoors while we enjoyed coffee and she shared details of the area. We will absolutely be returning!
