This is my second time staying at the Lily Pad. Had a different room this time—the West Room, I think. Each room has its own story and personality. We happened to be staying right in the middle of the Christmas storm of 2022. Room was plenty warm by itself, but the gas fireplace and whirlpool tub are especially welcome amenities when you come in freezing with wind burn. Layout of the room was very nice. Loved the little nook off the main room for drinking coffee in the morning. Bed was very comfortable. Private bathroom in our room was exceptionally clean. We like to walk everywhere, so the location is perfect. We parked about a block away in the small lot on Western and Hanover. That worked well for leaving our car in one spot for the duration of our nearly week-long stay. The owner is wonderful and takes so much pride in her town and business. The people I’ve crossed paths with while staying at the Lily Pad have always been so nice as well. For us, the Lily Pad is perfect. It was Christmastime and we felt at home; not like we were at a cold, impersonal, depressing, prefab hotel. This is a quaint, old, historic building bursting with character and charm. If that’s your thing, you’ll love the Lily Pad.

We came for an anniversary getaway and were very pleased. ||||The sheets were very soft and comfy. I enjoyed the firmness of the mattress. We loved the beautiful backyard and spent much time out there for breakfasts on the patio under the awning by the fire (we shopped for our own breakfast as the provided items are quite limited). And the landscape lighting is lovely at night, again we sat out by the fire. The grass and plants were nicely tended. A sunny spot provided a nice place to lay out in the afternoon. We had considered the Washington House Inn, but I see they have no backyard there...so if you enjoy being outside, this is a better option. The yard makes up for the smallish house :)||||There’s plenty of road noise, which we expected because it’s right on the main drag...which is one reason we wanted to stay there - it felt like we were part of the fun downtown which we came to enjoy. ||||There were other guests in the other two rooms, but we scarcely saw or heard them. We communicated with the host only by text. We appreciated these things because we came to be away together, not really to meet people (which often happens at a bed & breakfast). ||||The house is little and the room was smallish, nicely decorated, snug. Maybe “cozy” is the right word. We stayed in the lower level room along the street, “Sheboygan” room 3. The sidewalk traffic passes right by the window (and I mean *right* by the window), but there are curtains and blinds if you desire privacy. The reclining chairs facing the fireplace and large smart TV were nice. We did not try the whirlpool tub. The room was very clean when we arrived. ||||Was very nice to be right in the downtown so we could go in and out to shop, eat, walk or spend time at the brewery without having to worry about driving. Can rent bicycles from the backyard if you want to hop on the local trail. ||||Was very easy to book, Denise had the key waiting for us in a lockbox. She had a gift certificate for us to celebrate our anniversary at a nearby restaurant, which was a kind touch. She responded very quickly by text when I had questions. ||||Would visit again gladly 🙂

Amazing place! My daughter and I stayed here. We had a wonderful time! Our room was clean and very cozy. Lots of shopping, dining, and entertainment within walking distance. Recommend Sal’s pizza! The owner, Denise, was thorough and communicative through texting about all the details for our arrival and checked in to see if we had any questions. Denise is not on site but is readily available by phone. We absolutely loved staying here! The inside is quaint, and clean, and welcoming. We loved the complementary welcome basket with goodies. It was very quiet and peaceful, and we had a restful night sleep. We walked around downtown at night and stopped by Sal’s for pizza. So much to do in downtown Cedarburg. Lots of shopping and entertainment.|We were also lucky to be here during full fall colors. What a wonderful place to stay! I cannot say enough about the lily pad. We will definitely be back! Thank you Denise for providing such a lovely, comfortable place for us to rest and enjoy!

We recently stayed at the Lilly Pad Guest House for an impromptu anniversary getaway. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a pleasant time. There are three guest rooms available and our stay was in Room 1. It was cozy, charming and very welcoming. The room was beautifully decorated, had a whirlpool tub for two, an attached bathroom and a cozy sitting area with a skylight. In the backyard there are two gazebo areas, perfect for winding down after a day in town with a glass of wine or two. ||The Lilly Pad Guest House Is located on the main street in Cedarburg, within walking distance to the winery, brewery, stores, and shops. If you do plan to stay in Cedarburg, I highly recommend the Lilly Pad Guest House for your accommodations. You won’t be disappointed.

Upon check in, Denise was very helpful and full of information about the town. Our room was very quaint and lovely. As we settled in, we noticed all the small but wonderful details surrounding us. We had a very relaxing and romantic stay and enjoyed Winter Fest! The only minor issue we encountered was that the bathroom door didn’t stay closed and wouldn’t latch. Would definitely stay at Lilly Pad again!

Absolutely wonderful! Our only mistake was not to book 2 nights for our getaway! The owner was wonderful and easy to reach by phone. We only had to call her once because my husband didn't read the email directions completely in how to get into the house.The rooms are quaint. Every comfort is thought of and provided. My only complaint is the heat and I believe this may be out of their control. It was very hot in the room at night. We weren't able to use the fireplace and couldn't find a place to regulate the heat. I believe other guests running their fireplaces heat up the small home quickly. There was a fan thankfully. I am in a time in my life that cooler at night is very much needed! Other than that, it was perfect! We will definitely be back for many years to come! Already planning our next visit! Can't wait to come back in the spring, summer or fall to enjoy the garden and outdoor fire.

A perfect little getaway bed and breakfast right in the heart of downtown Cedarburg. Our room was great, lots of room and very clean and well kept. We were accommodated well, check in was a breeze and flexible as well. The breakfast snacks and coffee available any time were a great touch, and we made use of the complimentary umbrellas as it was rainy the day we were there. Denise also helped us out after our stay as we had left something in the room, but she was very helpful in getting it returned to us! Overall a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quaint and convenient stay in Cedarburg!

We live in Cedarburg but wanted to steal away from our crazy lives and just spend time together. This little hideaway was amazing and felt like we were worlds away! I love the lockbox key in. We literally didn’t have to see a soul which is what we needed. We booked last minute and brought our own gluten free treats which worked perfect with the fridge and microwave!! Loved the whirlpool tub. We had the upper floor all to ourselves!! Thank you for a very needed get away. We feel revitalized and ready for the week!!!
