We had to make a last minute decision to stay in Harper’s Ferry. Angela and Chad were able to accommodate our every need. From providing us great drinks and music at the barn, to getting us a table for dinner (accommodating our fur baby) and arranging a place for us to stay. Due to car issues even provide transportation home! This level of service is hard to come by these days. So it’s important to praise when it does! Love supporting our local businesses that give a personal touch.

Wonderful, historic bed and breakfast. Breakfast, fresh and delicious . We were there around Xmas, common rooms were decorated nicely for the holiday. Near to Harper's Ferry historic area. About 1 mile walk up and downhill. Great hiking and history in the area. Next to the inn are 2 restaurants and one nightlife bar. Down the street is a great bakery,Bolivar Bakery. Although you may be too full from your breakfast. I look forward to returning in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor deck.

A beautiful old building inside and out. The inn keeper that was there during the weekend was great. We stayed on the top floor which was a full efficiency, which we were totally surprised about, and also adored. We would definitely stay here again if we decide to spend a weekend in the Harpers Ferry area.

This was a wonderful getaway! The room was clean and quaint. The service (breakfast) was delicious. The communication regarding our stay was timely and helpful. The location was perfect and private but so close to everything we wanted to do. We will definitely be back in the future.

The location was good for getting around with a little walking and the barn behind it was cute. However when we arrived there, I had reserved suite 6 and they gave us suite 7 and only knew because it was taped to the front door. There was nobody around when we arrived. We only stayed to drop our stuff off then go do some hiking, and from a quick glance the room seemed fine. It was clearly an old building which was expected but cute other than the shower which was very much in need of being replaced. However, it had an odd smell and when we were walking out we noticed all of the smoke detectors in the room and hallways were removed which is illegal and a safety hazard. We returned later that night around 11 pm. My boyfriend is allergic to mold, more than just the normal persons intolerance, and started to have an allergic reaction within 15 minutes of being in there. After an hour in the room I also was having a harder time breathing and I have no allergy at all. That late at night we searched for anywhere else to stay and couldn’t find anything so he took medicines and we toughed it out, woke up early, and got out quick. Upon leaving, I just wanted to let the people know that the room was full of mold and that it is really dangerous to have removed all the smoke detectors but again we couldn’t find anyone. We just wanted to be away and done with that place so we left thankful we went with only one night instead of two.

Quiet, historic b&b up the hill from "lower town" Harper's Ferry. Rooms, sitting areas and back porch are nice. Owner also runs a restaurant next door and "The Barn", a great bar, behind it. Rooms have been upgraded recently but the house is very old (mid 1700s) so plumbing not great. Breakfast was great and easy drive to low town (steep .8 mile walk).

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean and have updated private baths. Beds are comfortable. The inn has great breakfasts, served at 9am. Elizabeth, the innkeeper, was very friendly and very knowledgeable about local history and attractions. She offered good info about local hikes. There are several places very close by for food/drinks. Walking in to Harpers Ferry is about .8 miles from the inn. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I recently stayed in Suite 4 as a last-minute anniversary getaway. I had emailed Angela weeks in advance with some questions and she was very responsive; we didn't pull the trigger and I ended up emailing her on a Sunday morning to inquire about the availability of the room because it had "disappeared" from the online listings overnight. Angela was extremely accommodating of our same-day reservation and after-hours arrival, put us in the room that we wanted, and even sent a text message to confirm. We appreciated the above-and-beyond service.

The inn was easy to find, even late at night, and there's a nice big lot with plenty of parking. The room was clean and the bed was firm, but comfortable. A space heater was provided for comfort. We really enjoyed staying in such an old building, and they've done a great job updating and introducing modern comforts while preserving the place's character.

Megan served us a simple but delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, a Belgian waffle, bacon, and fresh grapefruit. She was friendly and attentive, and offered some advice for our visit to the lower town.

All told, it was a great experience and we hope to return in the future.
